Good morning, brothers and sisters;
Since January 2025 we have welcomed about 9 new members. It's a very small new membership at CFS but from where I stand each individual is important in the eyes of God. From the start we strive to encourage them to get into the heart of overall fellowship, sharing, teaching and praying. Granted, some members never return nor participate after being welcomed. That's up to them but when they log on we lovingly welcome them.
Unfortunately, others forego the forum rules, expose their disposition, seeking confrontational, combative and ulterior motives. The staff exercises patience but these individuals end up getting banned. We cannot be responsible for their exposed behavior or extreme religious beliefs.
On the other hand, after 19 years the membership at CFS is blessed with seasoned Christians who discern an anointed poster and will discuss, agree / disagree and encourage newer believers in a civil, loving and acceptable fellowship. They will also caution in their posts to other members what can and cannot be discussed per our forum rules.
While the moderators will monitor the forums daily, we understand our members will exercise their apologetics that is consistent with God's Word. So if a poster with suggestive topics doesn't align with the Word will receive a response, a refute but in a civil manner.
I'll use myself as an example. If my conduct is not in accord with the Friendly Christian Forum then the membership has the right to submit a report and the staff will prayerfully discuss the issue and address me in a PM.
Overall, we're enjoying a good season of fellowship, not perfect, but in the direction of a Friendly, Christian Forum bringing God all the Glory.
