Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Transformed by the renewing of your mind. This transformation- this having your thoughts changed to line up with God- to think like God in that area you are renewed is the same Greek Word "metamorphoo that the Word of God uses to describe the transfiguration of Jesus Christ:
Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Believing God's Word (as breathed upon by the Holy Spirit) and walking it out reveals God's true heart and nature through you the believer. You the branch of the Vine show forth the life of the Vine (Jesus Christ) and the world is touched for His Kingdom, touched with eternal consequence....
