Most Famous Miracle

That's easy, although it'll appear to be TWO events, they're too intertwined to be separated in significance. His death and resurrection.

John 19:30 (KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus' word (in red) is Τετέλεσται and means literally paid in full! It's a transactional word between seller and buyer. Literally we were bought with a price. The wages of sin were paid in full.

Matthew 28:2-4 (KJV) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead [men].

The stone wasn't rolled back to let Jesus out, but to let men in to see He's not there!

Thank you for sharing! I had never really noticed that truth.
