Nick Vujcic....Joni Eareckson 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

I was in Walmart the other day and saw this book by Nick Vujcic " Love without limits" and was so pleasantly learned that he had a healthy baby boy. A wonderful family. Who could imagine how a person with such physical handicap will bless so many people. http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/

That also reminds me of another great testimony about Joni Eareckson who became a quadriplegic from a diving accident in 1960s. I still had the first edition of Joni's biography. She used 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 for her book's introduction. http://www.joniandfriends.org/

Such powerful and encouraging testimonies. The question I have to ask myself is why I keep whining with my "misfortune" and not be more like Joni and Nick ?

2 Corinthians 4:8-10
8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
This goes hand in hand with another verse

Ephesians 3:19-20
19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
 
Yea I saw that too.
Hallelujah!

With invisible handicaps its a little different its not so obvious to ppl. But still His grace is sufficient until we learn to lay hold of our blessings.
