not trusting God

humanity moved away from God and put satan in charge of us.the old testament,or should we say knowlege of good and evil, was our reward.thankfully God was mercyful, and Christ came to earth to give us the Good news, redemption from our sins, for whoever has faith in him.not only this but the holy spirit to come and live with us,meaning satan cannot enter us,we are sealed.only we can fall away, from God,not the other way around.knowing satan can effect your loved ones lives is the hardest part, also satans propaganda, media etc.moves us from the truth.they try to make us doubt God,thus widening the gap between us.our job is to remove that middle ground that seperates us.

Indeed.
Doubt and unbelief is a disease as well as a sin.

The Lord is so gracious about our doubts and our fears. I am reminded that when he appeared to the disciples in Matt. 28:17 we read "When they saw him they worshipped him; but some doubted". The word "some" does not occur in the Greek, so it would appear that worship and doubt warred together in the disciples minds.

What they doubted is not clear for they had seen the Lord before post-resurrection, and had eaten with him. Did they doubt that he wanted them to work with him any more? Did they doubt about why he had come, if he was going away?

We don't know and speculation doesn't help. What we do know is that immediately - with all their mixed emotions he gives to them what is called the Great Commission to spread the news of the Gospel wherever they went.

Such grace, that Our Lord uses us with all our mixed emotions and attitudes, and still gives us that Great Commission that is linked with the promise "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age".. Matt. 28:20.

Amen to that , Mike . We must always have our focus on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith . When we take our focus off of Him that is when satan comes to attack but we also have the power of prayer to resist evil and proclaim who we are in Jesus Christ .

James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
