Could October 2nd be the date of Our Lord's Second Coming?

I don't know but it is an exciting possibility and, according to this fascinating video, even Isaac Newton seems to think so:

The video quotes Daniel 9:25 and mentions that it's been 49 years since the return of Jerusalem to Israel in 1967.

Nothing has to happen, of course, and only God knows the exact date but it is a fascinating theory and it gives me hope.

Glory be to God!

I wonder if that's what was said at His first coming...

2 Peter 3:4 (KJV)
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

Many are having "2nd Coming Fatigue" which I find very interesting. Even John ask if He was the One after declaring Him so.

Doesn't matter when our Saviour is coming, the question is are we ready?

Blessings.

I think too many people are concerned with the 2nd coming of the Lord.
My view is enjoy life, relax, work and blossom; when He returns we shall take it as it comes.

Maybe.......but probably not.

The Bible fact as we all know is that the time is not known by anyone except the Father.

We can speculate on blood moons, and harvest times and Jubilees and so on but the bottom line is no one knows.

Personally, I think that if we would spend more time in trying to reach out to the lost all around us, instead of speculating on the 2nd Coming, we would be feel a whole lot better about the world.

I do not understand why you would think that maybe a harvest moon that occurs down there in the UK would portent global events?
Will you explain your thinking please?
Some people confuse Blood Moon eclipses with Christianity instead of astronomy.

The next Blood Moon is 9/28/16
The teaching of the four blood moons has recently captivated the attention of the religious world. This teaching states that, when four consecutive blood moons fall on Jewish feast days, a major event affecting the Jewish people will occur in close proximity to that time.

This phenomenon of four consecutive blood moons coinciding with Jewish feast days has only occurred ten times since 1 AD and only three times since 1492 AD.
When four blood moons happen in close succession, NASA refers to this as a tetrad. Tetrads are rather rare, only taking place fifty-five times since 1 AD.

Four blood moons are going to occur between April 15, 2014 and September 28, 2015, and they are going to happen on Jewish feast days. If the theology is correct, then we can expect some major event for the Jewish people.

Thank you Major.
Well, 2014-15 have passed. Did any event of Biblical proportions happen to Israel?

Luk 21:25 "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,
Luk 21:26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

I see that there are three celestial pre cursors to the imminent return of Christ. A sign in the sun, a sign in the moon and a sign in the stars.
Then on Earth, there will be troubled waters such as we have yet to see, and people fainting all over the place from fear.
Seems to me that the Lord, though He will return like a thief in the night, will give mankind plenty of warning and plenty of time to repent.
But that is just as I see it, others are free to understand differently.

Lol youre always so concerned about the second coming...it'll happen when it happens. Just relax
Well, that's the problem: I believe I'm not ready yet. :(

I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour but I'm far from spotless and I still haven't overcome all my sins.

Do you know of anyone who has?
Flavio here are some scriptures for you to study.

1Jn 1:8. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
See, you are not self deceived! You have the truth within.
As we confess our sins, Jesus forgives us and there is an on going cleansing of us. This is one of the many reasons we talk about the 'gospel' which means 'good news' Once we have come to that place of believing in Jesus as you have, our sins past present and future are all forgiven....that is good news in deed.

Php 1:6. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
We are not yet what we will be at His coming, but what has begun when you first believed will be made perfect at the time of His return.
Flavio, you are ready for the return of our Lord.
