Ok I'm A Dork...

click your name at the top right of your screen and you should see avatar as an option. From there you just upload the picture of what you want your avatar to be.

When I click Avatar under my name there are no files to choose from. I have a new Chromebook & have no pics downloaded. I have pics at work that I can email me during the week, but there's no where on the web to find avatar pics? Thanks for being patient.

I think you need to put the pics on a usb and upload them to your new chromebook then

you can definitely get pictures from the internet for your avatar. Just save the picture on your computer and then search for it when you go under the avatar setting.
 
Don't feel bad I drove around this site for months with that question mark...until some friends on here found me a avatar that matched my name... I am a computer dork as well but "Where is the Messiah" is teaching me :D Im going to be just like him, when I grow up:cool:
