On-topic, Re. Piercing (not Ears)

Okay so on the tattoo thread someone started to talk about body piercing (presumably not just ears), although it wasn't really on-topic.

...who had some body piercing.

So to keep on topic, has anyone had any experience of it; comments?

(Let's keep to topic, though I guess tattooing is generally related.) Blessings.

I'll add that if piercing is done, doing it in moderation is probably a good idea. I think an understated look is good.
