Our Sins

Amen.
We do not continue to be sinners once we meet the Saviour.
We become a child of God, our debt, the wages of sin, are paid for by Jesus' sacrifice.
I'm not sure I agree with your reasoning. We, in fact, DO continue to sin. The difference is that those sins have already been borne by our Savior and Lord, Jesus, the Christ.

All our past sins are forgiven and removed,our presenent if we commit any,we repent,confess and ask forgiveness. Our future sins are also repented of, confessed and forgiven when committed.

No one is without sin after Salvation for we commit sins of slothfulness,omission,failure to study and pray,get angry,have a bad attitude at times, it's the little foxes that spoil the vine.

We or myself stand forgiven, blood bought and washed,a child of God ,adopted through the blood of Jesus' sacrifice therefore NOT a sinner! I do not believe he forgives sins on installments that we have not committed yet,but when sin appears in us we confess,repent,then are forgiven.

Yes, but as you mentioned it is still important to continually confess our sins. Repentance and forgiveness go hand in hand.

Blessings.

Hello D3v;

The moment we repented and asked Jesus into our life, we no longer continue to be sinners , we become followers of Christ.

Still, each day the Lord humbles us with humility because we are going to make mistakes and sin. It's at that moment we are to be prepared round thy clock to get on our knees, confess and repent. Immediately God forgives and we thank Him for the cross.

In 1 John 1:8-10 stings my heart;

1 John 1:8-10, 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Other's thoughts?

I am so thankful that the word is understandable,and applicable.

1 John 1/2
My little children,these things write I unto you,that ye sin not. And If any man sin,we have an ADVOCATE , ( LAWYER) with the Father,Jesus Christ the righteous.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only,but also for the sins of the whole world.
