Pedialyte Recipe
Flu Season is coming up...the doctor recommended that I stock up on Pedialyte; so I went to the grocery store and then collapsed in the aisle after I saw the prices! Whew!
I did some research, and then checked back with my doctor for the okay...this recipe has the electrolyte-equivalence of Pedialyte.
For baby (Pedialyte)
2 quarts of water
1 teaspoon baking soda
7 teaspoons sugar
1/2 packet unsweetened kool-aide
1/2 teaspoon salt
For adults (Gatorade)
1/2 packet unsweeted Kool-Aide (any flavor)
2 quarts of cold water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup orange juice
Either recipe can be frozen into cubes or pops.
