Hope made some homemade pickled onions and pickles for my fiancé for Father's Day. She had a blast doing them yesterday. It was pickled Fun!

I was minding my own business until I came across this Pickle thread. lol!

I also love pickles, dill and sweet, but never heard of brine until Via mysteriously brought it up. Are brines just sliced pickles?

I have seen some pickles sold on a stick like a lollipop.

Question. Do all pickles have their own secret recipe?

brine pickles are salt solution pickles. they are not done in vinegar.

now I have never heard of pickle pops. next... pickled ice cream?

Hello Big Moose;

This serving looks delicious and has an abundance of health benefits. I used to get pickled red beets confused with pickled cranberry sauce. Regardless, I enjoy them both.

HAHAHA @ this delightful thread.... and here I thought BRINE was the juice that the pickles sit in or drown in ( which is actually more accurate ) since their little pickle frames are submerged in liquid. HAHAHAHA

Uuuuum.... I hate to point out the obvious... .however... if a pickle is sliced... it's a SLICED PICKLE. Just saying.
