Poem#107 Its Written
Matthew 5, Genesis 3, Luke 4, Hebrews
We’ve been struggling with the darkness of desires since Eden
Eve couldn’t shake the temptation of Satan, Adam didn’t say No
They both took part in forbidding fruit that killed their Spirits
The Flesh was left holding nothing but shame both on feelings
Leaving them hiding & covering up before God could see them
Pride has always been a thin wire to walk until we fall
We’ve come along way since Leaving Eden, still desires of Sin remains
Satan’s still telling the same old lies in a modern twist of what we want
While the Window of Truth with Arms of Jesus reaching on the Cross
We’ve been forgven of those Sins also, the Addiction hold is gone
When we go through the Window of Truth crashing through to Jesus
Knowing Truth cannot be Broken, the Way out is waiting to Catch us
Pride may push us towards our Knees based on what we done in Sin
But it’s when we’re on our Knees we find Humility we find Grace, Find Jesus Was Tempted like Us, We too can Defeat Satan with God’s Word
Desires of Sin will be strong, Lies of Satan sounding to good to be True
Still God’s Word is Stronger, God’s Word is a Double Edge Sword cutting
Darkness, Jesus Defeated Satan & We’re Forgiven, We’re His its Written
