Poem#13 Eleventh & The Thief

Poem#13 Eleventh & The Thief

Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬-‭16‬, Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭42‬-‭43‬, Ephesians 2:8-10

Far too many like to give Second opinions on Salvation
Like hearing the Parables of Jesus from the back row
Not understanding we’re not saved by baptism or works

We’ve all fallen short of the Glory of God it’s why the Cross
We’re all spotted with sin no amount of water can wash us
Only by Grace can we be saved so no man can boast

Parable of the Workers isn’t about wages it’s about Grace
Whether we find Jesus early in life or in the final hour of life
Long as we have Breath we can call out Jesus to be saved

Getting baptized is nice in a proclamation to step out in Faith
Just not a requirement in order to keep salvation still not works
Grace doesn’t take back what Grace has already given

Thief on the Cross wasn’t baptized unless counting sweat
Jesus didn’t deny entry into paradise after the Thief Believed
Grace Saves us the moment we confess Jesus is Lord

Only complication in Salvation is getting birds out of our hair
No more listening to people convinced it’s the eye of a needle
Only Way to be Saved will always be Jesus & only Jesus

It be Awesome to say the name of Jesus the moment we See
If it’s the Eleventh hour we see Jesus ask Jesus to remember
Like the Thief will be with Jesus in Paradise Saved by Grace
