Poem#130 Say Yes
Matthew to Revelation
The world maybe falling apart as we’re still living in a dark world
How close to the end in the end times we’ve been living for years
Still no time left to be saying no to Jesus while time still ticks
One out of one will perish, the question remains what of the soul?
Nobody knows when their time is up except the one who holds it
And the one who takes it away, but for who’s good will it serve?
We are broken visiting a broken world & those that come to terms
And confess to needing fixed and calling the only name to be fixed
By God’s grace in saying Yes to Jesus will be made New again
Day after day the flesh that keeps us from understanding must die
In order for the Born Again Spirit within us to keep winning battles
Waking up in total Surrender to Jesus every day until He comes
There’s no rest except within yes to Jesus & with yes comes Peace
The Holy Spirit guides us in all Truth & it’s Jesus we say Yes to freedom
The Lamp upon our feet to see in the dark world we’re traveling
Though we’re saved, we’re still traveling Broken, but we’re with Jesus
Friend of Sinners that’s forgiven us long ago on the Cross as the Lamb
Because of Jesus will be there when the Lion lays down with the Lamb
Heaven awaits inside the Heart that say Yes to Jesus yes to friendship
The kind of friendship that does the impossible for one another’s good
Yes to God all things are possible as we await the new Heaven on earth
