Poem#14 Mirror on the Cross

Poem#14 Mirror on the Cross

Isaiah 53:5, Luke 23

People won’t understand the Cross until seeing the Mirror

The face of Christ looking back & seeing what He’s done

That nobody’s put Him up their, but Me, All that’s Sinned

Looking through the Mirror on the Cross going back to Eden

Genesis 3:15 the seed of Christ down through Noah, Abraham

The Length of time & the amount of roots in took from this Seed

The Mirror on the Cross always knew it would be this way since

In the Beginning was the Word & the Word was with & is God

We just never understood what a Perfect Lamb Sacrifice was

All the prideful thoughts, that blame we brought forth of the bite

Nobody else was too blame for putting our teeth marks on desires

That came from not Believing God at His Word of Truth

Now here we read time & time again how Jesus took our Place

The Soldiers, those that put Jesus on the cross was the weapon

The one firing the weapon was the image on the Mirror on the Cross

The King that grew up being a Servant that very few looked passed

Becoming the very Stripes that would Heal the deepest of all wounds

Even before nobody understand we, All was Forgiven, it was Finished

The Mirror on the Cross between Two Thieves either one could be Me

Face in the Mirror on the Cross definitely should have been me, instead

The Face of Grace was looking back, looking forward forgiving everything

People kneeling before the Mirror on the Cross understand & accepted

Grace that was given through the death of Jesus & the Life come back

Not the Risen Savior, but the Life that came in the Mirror on the Cross
