Poem#21 Fulfillment Of Christmas

Poem#21 Fulfillment Of Christmas

Exodus 18, Isaiah, Luke

Even as Churches are in full festivity in the season of a Virgin birth

The Silent Night of Christ’s Birth was being fulfilled throughout time

Written blood sweat & tears by Faith that the Old would become New

The lives lost between the pages in hopes of fulfillment unseen promises

The Rescue of the People in Egypt to weeding out the pride in the desert

Laying down the Law reminding God’s Holy & we’re in a fallen state still

Generation to Generation still go through the books of Moses not seeing

The laws trying to keep & all the sacrifices & burnt offerings aren’t enough

God was showing how impossible it was to be Redeemed without Jesus

Moses needed 40 years wondering in the desert until all pride’s gone

The Lord carried the Seed of Promise planted in Genesis 3:15 to grow

Through darkness of time until reaching Man after God’s own heart

The fulfillment of Christmas through the line of David far from perfect

Christ was coming through the road less traveled totally unexpected

Through the darkness that the Seed of God was coming to shine Light

Immanuel was coming just like He promised just as He said He Was

While we’re sleeping at an hour least expected King Of Kings was born

During a season we’re not able to keep straight just close enough

God was walking among us as an example to walk in His Light

As Son of God sowing His Word in hearts & bring us to harvest

Fulfilling scripture to show His Goodness to see repentance

The Birth of Jesus that was planted in Genesis from Adam’s Sin

Fulfillment of Christmas always been the Heel to bruise the head

Finishing what Christ started when first covered with His Blood

Good morning, Walker;

Poem#21 Fulfillment Of Christmas
allows us to ponder on Christ's Birth.

For Christians, our reflection of Jesus goes beyond December, but each day.

As for the world it's always my prayer, (brushing aside the festivities this time of the year,) that one more comes forward to accept Christ as his /her personal Lord and Savior.

God bless you, Kyle, and thank you for sharing.

Merry Christmas.

Bob

Thanks Bob Merry Christmas to you as well, poem is another reminder that the real reason for the season is found beyond the red letters, that Jesus, the Holy Spirit was at work in the black letters as well. Genesis and Exodus was the beginning of the Christmas story
