Poem#22 Christmas on Earth as Heaven
Isaiah 65
Another Christmas season is coming as we Age settings change
The parties become smaller & smaller even as families expand
As we learn to give ourselves Grace as His Grace comforts us
Ancient of Days keeps reminding us this earth isn’t our home
Christmas on earth isn’t what the Lord intended to be in Heaven
Not this Heaven, but the New along with the New earth
The Mother’s, the Aunt’s, the Brother’s we celebrated the seasons
Will be celebrating with them again someday soon in Christ with Christ
Long as we Believe Jesus is the Resurrection & the Life as Savior
Tears will come for the final time as the final midnight strikes
Like the Thief enters at an hour least expected to take us home
Until then remember the Joy in the Lord Loves wants us to have
Even as we gather around the Christmas Tree on earth as in Heaven
The Heart we have thinking about the hearts we miss in another room
The Lion & the Lamb will be laying side by side before we know it
Heaven’s not as far as we think when looking up into our Heart
Where Jesus dwells so does His hand that wipes away our tears
As He whispers in our stillness Peace be with Us this Christmas
