Poem#61 Change Our Heart
Mark 10, 1st Corinthians 13, Isaiah 14
The difference between us & Pharisees asking Jesus questions
Depends on who’s throne we’re asking from humility or of pride
Either way don’t be afraid to ask Jesus who Sees where we are
If only we could see who’s throne we’re standing or kneeling on
When it comes to issues of the heart what we know won’t matter
Like the Pharisees if we don’t love we’re missing out seeing God
Good intentions of honoring the Law is missing the meaning of God
When keeping God’s commandments is all about Loving One Another
We’re standing in the throne of pride thinking we could be good enough
If their was any other way God wouldn’t have been the Lamb as Jesus
What’s impossible for man in good works is Possible with God in Grace
Jesus paid our cost of Sin on the Cross Once & for All out of Love
It’s unfortunate that it’s so hard to understand the place of pride
Such a fine yellow line between the road of heaven & road to hell
This is what Jesus is trying to get us to see when He Sees us
Jesus sees the pride inside our heart pride which is throne of satan
The more time we spend in pride less time we’re in God’s presences
Pride makes roots of bitterness, envy & thoughts of deserving better
Truth be told we deserve nothing for believing satan’s lies over God
God’s been nothing but Love to everyone He’s Created in His likeness
Through Jesus He sees us & Prays will let His Love Change our Heart
