Poem#77 Hand To Rod

Poem#77 Hand To Rod

Exodus 4, Psalms 139

God formed our bodies what we call weakness, He call’s Strength

Nothing is hidden that He can’t see, nothing’s missing he Can’t use

Takes the tongues of the mute by His hand so they speak His Words

We can’t play what’s behind our back with God as He sees All things

The Dust we came through His finger’s until it was time for His Breath

God doesn’t make flaws contrary to our sinful thinking

Don’t have to hide hands in pockets of unbelief with or without scars

If God can use the hands of those that drink like dogs can use anyone’s

All that God’s asking of our Hands is to hold the Rod up or throw it down

Moses tried every excuse he could think of God countered everyone

When God calls it’s best to Answer Yes, will be saying yes eventually

It’s not by the weakness in our body, but by the Power of God

Whether we got arms & legs, or no arms & legs God stands us up

It’s God that lifts us up until we’re holding the Rod we’re called to lift

It’s the Holy Spirit taking hold of our tongue at midnight or midday

God’s clock isn’t set by our hour to which we’re being called to move

Certainly wasn’t set by Moses’s time when it came time to go to Egypt

Be circumcised in our Heart be Ready to take Hand to Rod for God
