Poem#83 Becoming

Phillipians 4



The more we Surrender to Jesus the more Becoming

Learning to be content in Becoming nothing less until

Becoming the thankful Servant He’s teaching us to be



We’re not being molded into one verse taken out of context

We’re meant to be so much more in Becoming His likeness

Through being His Face along with His Hands & Feet



The more Jesus formed us in revealing the Father’s likeness

The more Joy we feel in the contentment of being His Children

Living as One Accord walking in the garden as the Sun rises



We can do all things through Christ who gives our strength

When surrendering to Becoming more like Christ everyday

Until Christ is our foundation the only footprints in the sand

Becoming is an adjective, of transitioning into or coming into being. Your poem is a daily reminder of God who continually forms us.

Believers can struggle and fall short of this yet God is working within us daily to grow, understand and spiritually mature.

The unbelievers may not see this, remain lost but even so have the opportunity to one day surrender to Christ.

This spoke to me this morning.
