Poem#84 Worthy

Poem#84 Worthy

Luke 7, John 3,

How many of us feel unworthy being in the presence of Jesus?

The shame of sin holding us back is actually what brings Jesus

Just like the morning Jesus found us in the Garden hiding

Jesus didn’t come to condemn to what we’ve done to ourselves

Jesus came to save us from our blindness, our numbness to feel

Through showing His Goodness through the Good He sees in Us

The devil tells us we’re not worthy to take away the Joy we feel

When Grace & Truth tells us the value God’s placed on our Heart

For the Love God gave His only Son for whosoever Believes

The cost of forsaking Jesus on the Cross God gladly paid for Us

So that Our Sin that kept us Arms length was far as East to West

No longer Death had a hold on us, no longer in chains of shame

We’ve been Forgiven We’ve been Risen along with the Temple

Just as Jesus Said the Temple that was torn would raised up

Jesus wants us to feel worthy to come to Him at any time

Truth & the Life nobody gets to the Father except through Jesus

Who’s one with Jesus who prayed to have Relationship with Us

That we would see God as Jesus as the Joy in our Life

The Holy Spirit speaks of the Joy God has for us in knowing Him

That we’re more worthy than any feelings we could imagine feeling

As Jesus picks us up from our knees washed with Righteousness
