Poem#98 Seek First Again

Poem#98 Seek First Again

Matthew, Romans, Luke, John

Don’t let your heart be troubled, don’t be Afraid Jesus said

Whether we’re lost & have been found only to be lost again

Answer remains the same in seeking the Goodness of God

Want people to seek repentance then we must show them

Not through signs, but through taking them to Applebee’s

Actually sitting down & showing them the Goodness of God

Seek first the Kingdom of God, seeking the Goodness of God

It’s the Goodness of God that leads to repentance to rethink

Changing our heart our minds how we see sin & God

Brothers that have lost their way, still after the same Grace

Salvation isn’t lost, just the way we’re seeking forgiveness

Confess to another Brother & forgive yourself

Seeking first or seeking again the Kingdom of God to find

Goodness of God is always waiting with open Arms of Christ

For the first time or welcoming Prodigals coming home

The Goodness of God is the Gospel of Jesus dying on the Cross

John 3 in it’s entirer context the love of God for whosoever Believes

Jesus didn’t come to condemn, but to save Us from our sins of death

Like Peter after the rooster crowed Jesus awaits us with Breakfast

The Goodness of God waits until we’re ready to remember He’s Love

Seek first, seek again the Goodness of God who Loves Us as a Bride

Hello Walker;

Thank you for the reminder.

You've known me a long time. I'm mostly positive and optimistic in the God we follow even when things happen and go awry or amiss. I may react at first, but then come to my senses, that God's got this. This is a consistency where God grew me up (years of hard knocks) and live by today.

Regardless, we all need encouragement, we all break down no matter who we are. If we portray ourselves as being too strong (prideful, egotistic or arrogant, refer to the Old and New Testaments) then God can't use or help us.

He lovingly picks up the weak, humble and meek.

God bless you, Kyle.
