Point to ponder

We think we are pretty good with all our scientific achievements, and they are a major factor in how we think and what we do. But I believe they would play a distant 2nd fiddle in comparison to the experiences and understanding that Adam would have experienced in the garden of Eden, fellowship with the Creator and source of all knowledge. When Adam fell i don't think his mind was blanked out but he took all those experiences with him. Consider the resource he would have been as men started to populate the earth. A person would think this would greatly influence the direction and the mindset of what we would call civilization. There are artifacts found which date prior to the flood that testify to a highly advanced 'civilization'. Maybe we are not as smart as we think we are. Jesus' rebuke was sometimes directed to the hardness of heart. Not to say we should throw everything out but maybe we shouldn't be putting a period behind our thinking.
