The Trophy / Points system is a carry over from a previous software version of the CFS Forum. That system was in place for a short time for members to review their posts and see how many Likes or Reactions that they received. That old score system has limitations and has not been used in a few years, however, the software developers have left it in place with subsequent software version updates for use by other small forums that still use it. That old system was an incentive for persons to randomly post with little or no substantive content, just to run up their points score and clutter the server with posts that had no usable content.
