Precious Gifts - Week 16
The Sky
But how often do we think of the sky as a gift
Genesis 1:6 (NLT)
"Then God said "Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.'
God separated the waters and called the space 'sky'."
Yet when we look time and again
To see if it warns us of rain
A red sky could be the warning
Of a rain storm for the next morning.
When you see a rainbow so bold
God keeps His promise of old.
The rain will eventually pass away,
Tomorrow may be a sunnier day.
If God hadn't created the sky
How could the sun sit so high?
From where would the stars shine bright?
And how could the birds take flight?
Thank you dear LORD for the sky!
