How can you?
Psalm 40

How can you use me
when I only bring
crap to the table?
How can you sort out the gems
From all this detritus ?
How can I calm this anger
That rages within me ?
How can I be refined
From this mess of a life
That’s now I lay before you?

You draw me up from this pit out of the the mud and miry clay of destruction,
Lift me up, draw me in,
Covered me with Salvation
No sin is mightier than
God forgiven power
As I stumble along life’s path
I thank God for your truths in
Psalm 40


I waited patiently for the LORD;
He turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
 
Hello brother Alan;

It's been this way for us in 2023, mostly people problems. I shared yesterday where the Scriptures fall short with me but it's these very Scriptures like Psalm 40 that assures me of God's promises.
