Who is lying? The NWO is a fact, not opinion. If you had been paying attention you would have noticed the UN/NATO/US league of self appointed do gooders have been going around destroying every nation whose government would not "play ball" and kowtow to them. Wake up and smell the sulfur.

If the UN is going to be the de facto ruling body of the world, we are all going to be very embarrassed about all that horrific imagery we drew from Revelation. What are they going to do? Gum us to death?

No, the UN, nor the EU nor NATO is the Beast of the Sea, there is a particular imperial state that will rise to power, likely in Rome, which will probably form a grand alliance, rather than a central state.

Also, the concept of a National State was not developed until after the 30 years' war. Prior to that, most countries were a network of imperial and ecclesiastical authority. And still, nationalism in its present state was not developed until after WWII when the British Empire dissolved itself.
