Ruth 1:16-17
KJV(i)16 And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
NSB(i)16 Ruth replied: »Do not ask me to leave you! Let me go with you. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 »Wherever you die, I will die. That is where I will be buried. May Jehovah’s worst punishment come upon me if I let anything but death separate me from you!«

13 Not all things the Apostles said are contained in the scriptures. John may have said many things and even some where the Spirit spoke thru him may not be contained in scripture. We are not to take what people say as the word but to see what people say by what the word says.
14 We should want to see other believers and want to show and share with them what the Lord has shown and done for us. John wanted to share with others the stories of Jesus and tell them the gospel we should seek to do the same. Face to face may be harder to do but is often more effective way to witness.
