Spring is here and when spring comes we spring into action. There is spring cleaning, mowing the grass etc. etc. We need to do it all for the Glory of the Lord. All our activities should be a reflection of who we are in God. We are created in Christ Jesus for good works. Faith without works is dead. Don’t just sit there when we see things that need to be done. Our scripture text says:

- Be Quick to Listen: Be quick to actually listen when people speak to you. Do not just be waiting for them to finish talking so you can say your piece.
- Be Slow to Speak: Avoid godless chatter and control your tongue.
- Be Slow to Anger: Control your anger and don’t sin. Being angry is not a sin. Just don’t let your anger affect how you are as a child of God.
- Be Quick to Act: Don’t just listen to the Word but do what the Word says. Don’t forget what the Word says to do. Faith must be accompanied by action or else Faith is dead. Be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Respond to the Lord’s calling by putting into action your Faith in God. Be doers of the Word and not hearers only.
