Chronicles 20: 1-3
1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Am'-mon-ites, came against Je-hosh'-a-phat to battle.
2 Then there came some that told je-hosh'-a-phat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Haz'-a-zon-ta'-mar, which is En-ge'-di.
3 And Je-hosh'-a-phat feared, and sat himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

" During the reign of Jehoshaphat, a vast army assembled to attack the nation of Judah. His responce to the situation can guide us in handling our own crises.
The Bible records that the king "turned his attention to seek the LORD" in prayer(v.3). Likewise, when we facehardship, our best response is to cry out to our heavenly Father. As God's children, we can be certain that He loves us and cares about the details of oue lives.
through the cross, God established a new covenant for those who place their trust in the LORD Jesus(Luke 22:20)-He agreed to forgive our sins, adopt us into His family, and watch over us. This salvation depends not upon our good actions but upon the completed work of Jesus, who died in our place(Eph. 2:8). God also sent His spirit to live in us as proof of our salvationand to be ever present with us. He is interested in every aspect of our lives and promises to hear our prayers.
Jehoshaphat was ready for this crises because he had developed the habit of seeking the LORD in various situations(2 Chron. 19-3). If we want to be prepared for the unexpected, then we mustdiscipline ourselvesto seek God everyday, acknowledging His Lordship and our dependence upon Him.

Now, that is so true sister. We must take everything to God in prayer. If God be for us, who can be against us? Yes, we will have obstacles in our lives, but when we take them to God, everything works out for the good no matter how bad it seems. Good post sister. Thanks for sharing.
