Silence

The LORD is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.”
Psalm 23:1-3

We need to find God, and He cannot be found in noise and restlessness.
God is found in silence.
See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence.
See the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence.
We need silence to be able to touch souls.

God is found in silence.

I agree with your post. May I just add that you can also still find him in the noise and restlessness if you continue seeking Him. Every person is different, so they might hear God the BEST during noise and restlessness because they see His faithfulness during those crazy times. My life has turned noisy and restlessness after getting into a major car accident and He's still speaking.

Now in the silence, God doesn't always have to speak with words but He moves in the silence. Some people might hear him best in the silence.

Remember, "If you seek Me, you will find Me." He's not playing hide and go seek in the craziness or in the silence, but He is always here, always present, and always constant.

I pray that your recuperation from the car accident has been - or will be - complete very soon. And that you did (or will see) God's "hand at work" in and through this most unfortunate occasion.
