slow to anger

Something to add....


Do you know that when you are angry, the part of your brain that handles reason goes to sleep. Really it does. Anger is such a strong emotion that it clouds over the reason part, and takes control. That's why people who do not have control of their anger usually end up doing things they wouldn't normally do...like hurt people, and yell raving mad things...

I'll see if I can find a link...but the point is that God told us this already! It took the scientific community until recently to "discover" this truth....
 
KItsap girl..... You are so right and having been in a marriage of abuse and anger.... yes anger is a very dangerous characteristic.
 
I've been searching for the study I read a few years back...It indicated that certain strong emotions can slow or cloud the reasoning processes of the brain thereby hindering reasoning during intense situations.

Anyway, I can't find a link that isn't full of psycobabble....ugh!
