Fifteen minutes of fame
I hope that I can make it to heaven
for my fifteen minutes of fame
At the moment
I’m anonymous in a crowd
a pew warmer
An invisible man
Nobody recognises
What I’ve done
No body knows my name,
I’m in no one’s hall of fame,
Under the radar
An invisible man
Will I have to wait till my name is called to go stand before the eternal throne?
To meet, shake hand with Jesus
To hear His “Well Done”
To hear the heavenly host of thousands cheering on,
Things done in secret
Will be rewarded then,
But sometimes
Just sometimes
It would be nice
while still here on earth
To get a note from Father saying
“Well done son”
I hope that I can make it to heaven
for my fifteen minutes of fame
At the moment
I’m anonymous in a crowd
a pew warmer
An invisible man
Nobody recognises
What I’ve done
No body knows my name,
I’m in no one’s hall of fame,
Under the radar
An invisible man
Will I have to wait till my name is called to go stand before the eternal throne?
To meet, shake hand with Jesus
To hear His “Well Done”
To hear the heavenly host of thousands cheering on,
Things done in secret
Will be rewarded then,
But sometimes
Just sometimes
It would be nice
while still here on earth
To get a note from Father saying
“Well done son”
