spirits of men and women

I think yes, men and woman are both reflections of God's image.
God is complete and encompasses both the male and female, or the 'whole' if you like.
 
I think it's true the spirits are different

It is fine for a woman to be effeminate.

It is sinful for a man to act feminine.

God's Word makes it clear that He wants a difference between the sexes so I expect our very spirits are meant to follow the design God gave us to begin with. He created us while we were yet in our mother's wombs.

I do think there is a lie out in the world today. I've heard people say that some were living in a body but they did not believe they were supposed to become the sex they were born with.

That lie seems to be an excuse for walking in sin.

God gives us freedom to live for him or to live against him.

A person can act differently than they are supposed to act or there wouldn't be a place in the bible speaking against men acting effiminate.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Our bodies and souls are certainly different though.

I am glad you put that Biblical answer there.

I was thinking of the question in another way. You may be able to tell from what I wrote previously.

I was thinking about how men and women are different in the sense that there is Biblically a difference between men and women.

Women are the weaker vessels.

Men are not to act feminine as I mentioned before.

I am sorry for any confusion caused by what I wrote earlier.

Np- the soul and spirit are often confused - the very Word of God declares they must be divided in order to discern.:)

This particular statement does not make sense.

All of the ten commandments are obeyed if we love the Lord with all our hearts and love our neighbor as ourselves. This sums up all the laws and the prophets.

What rules can a man make that can surpass walking in love the way God tells us to walk?
 
Jesus gave us two laws Mike- if we do them we will automatically do all ten:
Luk 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
 
God gave sexual union for several reasons. The first reflects the realtionship we have with Him- when a man and a woman come togeather in intimate union life is imparted and reproduced- when we come togeather in union and communion with God life is imparted and reproduced.
Another aspect of a male and female union is that the two become one - this is also reflective of what happens when God and man come into union thru the blood of Jesus Christ and this was Jesus's pray for us- that we would become one even as He and the Father were one.
Homosexuality cannot impart life- it is barren and unatural. The Lord God condemns it specifcally in both the Old Testament and the New Testament calling it an abomination and unaceptable. Does that mean they are not nice people ? No. Do they need to get delivered ? Yes. God can and will reach them where they are but He will not leave them in this corruption. It is not a sin to struggle in overcoming a problem but it is completlely unacceptable to live a lifestyle embracing such sin. If one is trying to justify such a lifestyle and believes that they are ok with God then they are self deceived and need much prayer.
 
That's what I have always maintained is the crux of it, engaging in the struggle vs. giving up and embracing the sin, whatever the sin may be.
 
my wife,s sister has become married to another women and have a child.both are very good people,and as i listen there words seem to be from God,this is why i think satan leaves them alone.but they like me look to this world in terror.
 
i listen to them,and they both talk good,as with God.neither have problems,myself struggle with a lot.but know evil try,s to stop me through the spirit of others.even my wife and children are influenced by the spirit,so what do i do?
