Starting to read Genesis.

Here's some Bibles I use if I want something a bit more modern. Thankfully Bibles come in the pocket sizes so you don't have to lug around those huge ones anymore. I like those because I can take them everywhere and in everything and they aren't so space-taking.

My Favorite - NLT (New Living Translation)
A very popular 'modern' version - NIV (New International Version) [is not my favorite, actually, but is okay for those who like it ]
NKJV (New King James Version) - The King James without all the "thees and thous"

Those are the only ones I can think off the top of my head right now.

Thank you all very much. I think I do have a study bible. I am not exactly sure. Do any of you have a specific bible you could recommend, and where I could buy it online? I do have a HARD time reading, and understand what I am reading, so a version that uses 'everyday words' would be helpful.
