Strife, Disputes, Godliness and Faith.

Here is how the scriptures speak for themselves when it comes to doctrines and teaching. These things need not one bit of our defense of what's written:

1 Timothy 6:1-12 KJV

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and [his] doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all [kinds of] evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

My dear brother...........I think that we must consider that 2 Timothy 4:3-5 is laying right on top of us all.......
" For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

Oh yes. We are indeed seeing that through people like JO, who has a congregation size each week of about 6000+. People have expressed to me, in conversation, their sadness for congregations like that who are being deceived by the soothing, flowing, venom teachings flowing forth through bleached teeth of liars. They talk on Oprah about how his god loves people right where they are, and only wants them to be happy in life and to become all that they can be to better themselves, and to have their happiest life ever, right here and now....

Frankly, they consist his congregation because they have itching ears. They could stand up and walk out of that place at any time. I never did see automated seat belts that held them there until after JO was done teaching them all his falsehoods. They love that false teacher. They have an assortment of filthy falsehoods teachers to choose from, such as JP, KC, BH and many others, and making them richer and richer every day.

We are living in exciting times...be they so very sad at times. Those who flock to false teachers to get their itching ears scratched with some new, outlandish doctrine of the day will get what the Lord dishes out to them if they don't repent before or during their last breath on this earth. It's no wonder why Yahshua stated that many will stand before Him, saying, "But, Lord, Lord..." That He stated that MANY will do that, saying such things as, "But, Lord, Lord, we attended (c)hurch regularly, we prayed and read the lessons from our preacher, attended cell group meetings every week with our fellow (c)hurch members, and we listened to (c)hristian music all the time, and ate at (c)hristian establishments to support fellow (believers)...," and we know what He will say to them.

All the while believing they are saved because they never get into the book, but just accept what they were told. Real Christianity is an ongoing relationship with Christ Jesus. If only they would take the time to get to know Him!

Amen my brother!

IT is so easy to get caught up in the madness of the moment, which causes strife, disputes, anger, and bad behaviours especially if one is talking doctrine.

These forums are for BELIEVERS to communication in love with the family of God. The unthought of things however is many many ppl read and are seeking a way of peace, bc living in the evil of the end times is also very hard for them and they DONT PARTICIPATE. Evil is forever offering a way of self satisfaction for them by evil means.

We are to stand in the gap and make a hedge so if the Spirit convicts the sinner then when they seek, we can give direction.

There are so very many PERSONAL things spoken of in God's word. The way to walk, speak, share, help, encourage, edify, admonish, instruct, ect.

Yet this is usually what we push to the forefront, church or denominal doctrine.
Everything ABOUT A BELIEVER SHOULD BE ABOUT THE BELIEVER AND GOD THROUGH HIS WORD ! This is how we personally mature.

Yes I know we are to hear the word as our starting point in receiving salvation, and there is a need for preachers to carry that word under the anointing. But we must be doers as well as hearers of the word. Our light or lack thereof is what ppl mostly see, even if youre speaking.

There's a Youtube channel that has some interesting thoughts about church history. Check out their videos on "Churchianity."

Kingdom Prepprers

It looks as though they expect to still be here when that Kingdom is established, but not me. I prefer to be taken up long before that, and return with the King when He comes to establish it. But, their thoughts on the so-called "church fathers" and the RCC are most enlightening and refreshing.
