Tables full of vomit

Watching news can turn a person's stomach. Seeing clips of people appointed or running for office and then some hypocrite smears them with details from the past. I'm not condoning any individual or saying it is not true but 'let him that is without sin cast the first stone'. I expect those that are critics, are in many cases worse than those who they point fingers at. Their's is the greater sin, 'a judge not...' a sliver and beam thing. What aught to be under scrutiny is the person's motive and objective. If those two are in order it would probably turn out OK.
Anyway that is my rant - not sure if I feel any better lol.

Good morning, 2404;

I couldn't agree with you more. The tongue is a horrible weapon when used to bring another down.

I live in a state whose leaders and local celebs throws darts and arrows from not just an International and national level, but more so on a local level. Most people will say that's an "easy fix," just turn off the TV, radio and internet. But that doesn't mean we click the Ignore button.
lol!

We must continue to be aware of the world's events so we know how to pray for the world as well in our own backyard. Christ is returning, therefore in today's life we can guard our own well being from Tables full of vomit; we can live without fear, imbedded anger and disgust, by fear in our God who can lead us from an anxious life.

Fear of God is trust in Him who will take care of us. God is our audience and He who knows each of us, therefore, He will subside those other fears, anxiousness and imbedded anger.

Psalm 112,
1 Praise the Lord! Blessed is a person who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments. 2 His descendants will be mighty on the earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. 4 Light shines in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous. 5 It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment. 6 For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever. 7 He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. 8 His heart is firm, he will not fear, But will look with satisfaction on his enemies. 9 He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor. 10 The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish. - NASB

God bless you, brother, and Happy Thanksgiving.
