The Bottom Line is at the very end of The Book

Revelation 21:
6 I will give of the fountain of the water of (eternal) life freely to him who thirsts (spiritually).
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and
all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Those who thirst for spiritual truth AND are overcomers will receive eternal life.
But, all sinners will have their part in the lake of fire.
The contrast is clear: overcomers vs. sinners.
How could a just God NOT lump all habitual unrepentant sinners together as part of one group?
Would a just God condemn one group for their sins while ignoring the same sins in another group?

Now, let’s be clear about who an overcomer is.
Revelation 3:
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
An overcomer is one who has heard Jesus’ voice and responded to His invitation to fellowship with Him.
But also, and here’s the key: An overcomer is one who has overcome as Jesus overcame!
What did Jesus overcome?
Here are some of the things Jesus did to be an overcomer …
He obeyed God, He did not sin, He was victorious over Satan, He overcame persecution.
But we are dealing mostly with sin now … Jesus was tempted in every way, but did not sin.

Here we have a close parallel to the above (overcomers vs. sinners):
Revelation 22:
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,
that they may have the right to the tree of (eternal) life,
and may enter through the gates into the city (of New Jerusalem).
15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters,
and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Overcomers are those who obey Jesus’ commandments, and who receive eternal life.
Sinners are excluded from the New Jerusalem (and eternal life).

The above is in advance of a forthcoming review of a book written by David Wilkerson,
in which it is revealed how God’s incredible New Covenant makes overcoming possible.

Please stay tuned for several more days while the report is being prepared.

in which it is revealed how God’s incredible New Covenant makes overcoming possible.
I read a book that has already revealed the amazing secret of overcoming through the power of God - it is my New Testament.

Just follow the instructions and then one will be born new by water and the Holy Spirit and confirm Mark 16:15-20.
It really is that simple.

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
1Corinthians 4:20
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:37
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written unto you,
young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1John 2:14
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
1John 5:4

Overcoming is enabled through reading the Word and examining oneself against the Word.
And also in exercising the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit by praying in the Spirit [tongues] - that is by using daily
and often the gift of the Holy Spirit to cleanse and purge the natural person.
And the Spirit teaches and leads us to righteousness if we submit and follow.

For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:11-14

Amazing - the gospels and the epistles in these 4 verses.

Amen! Being a doer of the Word of God is the key, besides walking in love and forgiveness, for faith will not work without this love.

Extremely few believers today are the least bit impressed with anything in the word connected with the bold.
To them, the bold has zero to do with being saved, keeping one's salvation, etc.

I agree and it's the bold that can change things for the Bold tends to be Something We Must Incorporate into our lives.

Far to many folks treat God's word and promises as if they do nothing and the promises of God simply automatically fulfill in them.
It's called a Do nothing religion and it's these same folks who also walk in the No Fault Religion.....yes no matter what happens it's not my fault, after all we never know what God might do.

Boils down to believers refusing to take Responsibility for themselves.
Thanks Brother
Blessings

Yes, most churches today do not teach accountability.
Our co-operation is necessary to keep our salvation.
The new Covenant has 2-parties, both of which must hold up their end.
Of course, this is not evident at the beginning with John 3:16, etc.
Such verses only serve to catch the little fishes who are floundering around in the muck.
