These BOB pictures just CRACK me up. WHAT a lovely place this CABIN. 
So...... time for a little serious reflection.
It has been quite a year for me so far... in that things have been challenging and difficult... both personally and within the forums. I am beginning to understand that this is part of BELONGING to something... and since I have NEVER belonged to ANYTHING... I have not recognized some of what I have been feeling and experiencing.
I am learning to find my voice... when it comes to expressing things that bother me or concern me.... which is also a LEARNING curve. I HATE confrontation... I avoid it at all costs... but that is not always the right route to take... and for someone like me whose first instinct is the SHUT DOWN and WALK AWAY.... I am beginning to experience that it's not that simple or straight forward when one has made a COMMITMENT to someone or something.
AND so.... I am GROWING.... and the fact that I am able to say this speaks loudly... as to the BEAUTY of this place called the forums.
When we genuinely CARE about others... the behaviours of the group as a whole AFFECT us. When one part of the body is not functioning as it should.... it is felt on a large scale. I have experienced this recently.
The other thing I have experienced is wanting to protect others... and that is also a foreign concept for someone who lives a loner-type life.
These forums have so many layers ( that we don't see )... all the behind scenes workings of those who VOLUNTEER their time and energy ... ensuring that things run properly... not just digitally... but perhaps more importantly ... socially and spiritually.
I am suddenly struck with this revelation.... and so.... I seem to have found a new and improved DESIRE to be the BEST little "DA SHEEP".... that I can possibly be.. in order to do my part to ensure the smooth running of this place.

Does anyone go to the Farmer's Market? Ours is Saturday mornings. This will be the FIRST of the outdoors markets. They move it inside a building during the late autumn and winter months.
I like to purchase my eggs there and so this morning... that is where I am headed. it's basically my usual morning walk along the waterfront.. but NOT quite to the boardwalk. I make a right and take the tunnel which leads me directly to the market.
It's drizzling rain this morning... so it's not going to be the greatest of fun... however... it's worth getting the fresh eggs.... plus whatever else I may happen to find. HA.

Oh yeah! They are awesome. Been to one already two weeks ago. They had tons of flowers and I got some geraniums for my wifey poo. They look like this:
One story about wifey poo. For Christmas one year, I put Wifey Poo on the label for the present I got my wife. My two boys were young, like 4 and 6 years old, and we always let them sort out the presents to who they go to. Well the older one read the tag and said, "Who is Whiffy Poo?" We laughed and laughed. So now we sometimes refer to her as Whiffy Poo just for fun and laugh our butts off!
We went to the Port Orchard, WA farmer's market today. I bought honey and soap. Tomorrow we're going to the Chimacum farmer's market.
I did not want to say anything because I am a bit embarrassed .... but the doctor put me on a leash for the next month or so. I am to stay in the YARD. I don't need it for INSIDE... only when I go outside.
Never have I seen a cartoon that was SO ACCURATE.... IF you know... you KNOW.

Good morning my precious FORUM FAMILY...
Well.... It's WARM outside..... and it's GARDEN DAY!!!! I am going to be planting my vegetable garden this morning.
Plus... the rest of my flowers.
I have celery.... jalapeno peppers... tomatoes... and then the rest will be seed.
I bought corn seeds... I am so hoping that I will get some nice corn growing.
I have yellow beans... cucumbers... and that should be good for this year.
I am going to keep it simple... and work with what I have.
Upon further inspection of my flower pots this morning... I am delighted to report that NO MAJOR damage was done to my precious plants over the cold spell. SO grateful for that. It would be such a shame to have spent all that money and not be able to ENJOY the beauty of COLOUR.
So then....
HAPPY SUNDAY to everyone. I am going to put my radio by the window and enjoy the Sunday programming of my Christian radio station.
