Oh my goodness..... OH my goodness...... OH my...... this is the BEST place in the entire world.
I come in here and all my troubles melt away.

WE love BOB.... we love Mr. Moose... WE love everyone who comes into the CABIN.
except for ground hogs.... we have issues with ground hogs... ( I don't but Mr. Moose does ).

LearningToLetGo .... The above picture made me laugh so much.... because... I have a cucumber plant that decided NOT to be eaten by the outside forces of random TEETH. HAHAHA

However.... If you see the moose's feet. He is indeed submerged in some kind of liquid..... WE have cranberry fields not too far away from me.
They flood the fields the night before collection. I only found out a few years ago that we have our own cranberry fields. This year... I plan on buying my cranberries fresh from there.

You could not have picked a more perfect picture... HAHAHAHA.....

Confession to the squirrels...

OK... so.... y'all remember my mumblings and rampant accusations towards the squirrels with reference to eating my cucumber plants.... well... this morning I received an epiphany of sorts. As I am watching my lovely little cucumber plant growing... I suddenly realized this is NOT the plant that I kept seeing over the last few weeks.... and then it hit me....
What I was thinking was my cucumber plants.... was actually the seeds that the squirrels are hiding in the ground. I'm not sure exactly what seeds they are but... they have sprout like stems... and I have found them everywhere... including my planters. I have no idea why it took me so long to put 2 and 2 together.... I guess math just isn't my thing. HA.

With the above realization... I am left with the fact that... I have falsely accused and convicted the poor innocent squirrels with a crime they did NOT commit.... and so.... let it be public knowledge that I sincerely apologize for my failure to ensure a fair investigation into the matter. :D

I have left a basket of peanut butter cups and fizzy drinks as a peace offering. Please hurry before Mr. Moose thinks I have stocked up on his treats.

Happy Saturday to my beloved forum family...

It's MARKET DAY.... leaving shortly to get myself some fresh farm eggs and whatever else my little eyes might fall upon. HAHA.

It's forecast to be a nice and warm day. YEAH....

Planted my entire garden yesterday... basically started over with the seeds as they just do NOT want to make an appearance. So.... corn....has been replanted and yellow beans added.... boy those seeds are big...

Anyways.... just a quick check in.... I love you all.
 
Morning sweet lady and everyone reading; hugs from NC :) I have to go to the market today myself. Its cloudy here, and in the 70's (20's C).
I actually have the day off so Im still in bed being very lazy. Its almost 10:30 EST, so I better get a move on.
My clothes are still in the dryer, so I can play on the internet for a little while longer....
 
What a GLORIOUS day....

Fresh farm eggs in my fridge.... had a nice 4.5 mile walk.... the sunning ( good thing I proof-read... the sunning is out... brightly.... HAHAHAHAH ) and also the SUN.... and the SON..... is shining oh so brightly... the garden is watered...
LIFE is GOOD..... DA SHEEP is happy and BLESSED.

Was thinking..... I should be doing something special for my Mr. Moose... but not sure exactly what...

Frannie has been bugging me to put on a BBQ where she can give out FREE lipstick demonstrations... and she wants her own BOOTH.... just like at the FAIR. Isn't that oh so exciting???? Mr. Moose will LOVE that.

Gosh I love this place.... it's my HAPPY PLACE.

Why is the dachshund eating out of the dryer????? And why does it look like they put gummy treats in the food? I took a second look closer, and now it looks like veggies.....what kind of a dog eats cucumber and tomato?
 
My favorite dog ever was our pitt named Chomper. He mostly loved everyone especially kids; If he didnt it was with good reason.
Anyway he loved vegetables including carrots and brussels sprouts. If I left a salad unattended, I would come back to an empty bowl.

Good morning, CranberryArtworks;

Have you been to New Foundland Labrador? I hear it's beautiful and on our list to visit one day. The people there are very proud of their island and don't consider that a part of Canada though it's a province of Canada.

I have some old friends that lived there and the husband was a seasonal commercial fisherman. I hear the food is good and includes moose meat. I prefer fish and brewis.

Can't you enjoy the fact that the dog was being NOURISHED???? HAHAHAHAHA and still HAHAHAHA.

I would be more concerned about BOB's choice of menu as seen in post #859 ( specifically the lower quadrant of the post ).

Happy Father's Day to all the precious dad's ...

I attempted to make a chocolate cake this morning ( I have NEVER made one )... because one of my landlords is quite literally a CHOCOLATE monster. He once proclaimed that he did not understand almond bark due to the fact that the almonds take up the space of the chocolate. :D

The cake is now partially in the trash.... it was DISGUSTING and I can't exactly tell you why.... it severely caved in... and it does not taste good... I still cut a large chunk out that was not caved in... and iced it with chocolate icing and brought it upstairs to my landlords with the disclaimer that it was NOT GOOD... but that I did not have the heart to throw it all out.

I made lasagna... which I will enjoy later today.... along with a Caesar salad and a nice baguette.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather... but it's a GORGEOUS day outside..... and GOD is GOOD.
