The Christmas Story......

... as told by my 6 year old.


Mary and Joseph were on a donkey, and they went to lots of people who told them "no". Then someone said, "No, you cannot stay here, but you can stay in the barn." So they went and got a feeding dish and put baby Jesus inside. Then the angels told a star. And then people came and one wanted to be King, but Jesus was already the Savior.

My favorite part was when he said the "feeding dish". It reminded me more of a little bowl rather than a big trough.
