The Gospel according the letter to the Philippians

Continue Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in US will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: For it is God which worketh in US both to will and to do of his good pleasure. There by Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
That we may approve all things ( recognise as genuine after examination) that are excellent; that we may be sincere (with- out hidden motives or pretense, pure) and without offence (being without fault because of not giving offense, faultless, blameless) till the day of Christ; Therefore work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. With that being said, Do all things without murmurings and disputings:(because you would be arguing against God) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom we shine as lights in the world; Holding forth (exhibiting) the word of life; that God may rejoice in the day of Christ, that God is not running in vain, neither labouring in vain.
(Php 1:6,11,10;2:12-16 KJV)

Is there something that you would like to ask or make a comment about those Scriptures?

I think take from the scriptures what is relevant to you, for me the thing that stands out is how we can be lights 'in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation'.

So many things go wrong in our own nations we don't always have the leaders that we like, our governments can be corrupt, or they are shown to be crooked and perverse in their decision making because of hidden agendas. There are those who must take the blame for the harm they cause to everyone else but they don't and their wrong decisions and policies can affect everyone.

I think of politicians how they are ALWAYS arguing against one another, never coming into agreement and not uniting for the interests of everyone, only their own circle. One will decide one thing and then the other will criticise and undermine the other when they could have worked TOGETHER to come up with a solution.

This says that Jesus is God. When people say how is Jesus God. Bring them to this message. Amen!
