The Middle East. (13) Conclusion.

CONCLUSION.

We have traced God`s desire to establish His righteous rulership through Israel over the nations, and we have also seen how Satan tries continually to undermine God`s plans.

Satan constantly tried to exterminate God`s people Israel and to set up his unrighteous rulership throughout the ages. God however, established His nation Israel and over the centuries protected and guided them even when they were rebellious and in exile.

The region of the Middle East was central to early man and then throughout the Gentiles rule from – Babylon to Rome and on to today. Just as God`s word says that the Middle East would again be the focus of the world.

In our day we can see the stage set, (as it were) for the final fulfillment of Satan`s plans and also of God`s great plans. All mankind is being drawn into choosing whom they will worship – Satan or God.

God`s hand of mercy is outstretched amid His judgments; however, it is up to people to repent and turn to God. Many repent, but some don't. They would rather have darkness than God`s light.

May we who have knowledge of God`s great plans continue to encourage each other and reach out to those who are responding to God`s call.

`….exhorting (encouraging and warning) one another and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.` (Heb. 10: 25)

Hello Marilyn;

Thank you for presenting these lessons on the Bible and the ancient near east. It makes me stop, understand the history origins and think of where we are in the world's smaller stage (locally) today.

How can I share the Gospel to many people from today's near east in the SF Bay Area.

God bless
you, Marilyn, your threads have a purpose.

Bob

Thank you Bob, for your continual encouragement and input. I am very appreciative of you and the other Pastors here that have received and agreed with what I was taught by my Pastors and teachers many years ago.

I am preparing another series called `The 3 prophetic Days of the Lord.` I look forward to people`s input.

Marilyn.

Your posts are all Biblically sound. I am curious to know what your sources are as they are spot on.

To answer your question...Middle East-Conclusion........it is the place where the Creator made humanity.
It is where all the nations and people were propagated. It is where the Creator God Jesus Christ, intervened decisively in human history, becoming incarnate in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. The Church was born in Jerusalem and first grew in cities like Antioch, Damascus, and Alexandria.

It is where the beginning of man is seen and it is there that God will judge man.

Marilyn, Isn’t it interesting that the Bible doesn’t say…God does not say.........
“I will make New York a cup of trembling;"
"I will make London a burdensome stone;"
" I will make Moscow this…” .

But it literally does say is, “I will make Jerusalem…”.

Now on the one hand, many people will say, “Well, that’s an awfully narrow focus.”

But that is, in fact, where the action is. Jerusalem is the number one problem—the burdensome stone.
So, what’s the point of talking about all these other nations? God’s plans are focused on Isreal.

WHY?

Because t
hese are His chosen people. These are the ones through whom He demonstrates the relationship that He wishes to have with all of the world.

Indisputably, Israel is the major topic of All biblical prophecy.
The word "Israel" is found 2,565 times in 2,293 verses in the King James translation of the Bible.
The word "Jerusalem" is found 811 time in 764 verses!

The conflict between tiny Israel and the vast coalition of Arab/Muslim nations arrayed against her is without question the most dangerous situation facing the world today and it is not new. If we go all the way back to Genesis, that is exactly what we see taking place then.

Keep up the good work of getting out the Word Of God!

Hi Major,

Really good thoughts there and I appreciated reading it. Now my sources are `Fires before the Dawn,` (by Ps. A. Gardiner) and Bible College notes - all from the `70`s. My early teachers have come and gone and I don`t see the depth of teaching they had on eschatology now.

It does my heart good to hear you agree with them. Marilyn.

Hello Marilyn and Major;

This will be interesting. Back in the early 70's I was in youth group, and our band played at Christian Youth dances.

Hi Bob,

Interesting indeed. Dancing was a big no, no is our group. They were very Scottish strict. You couldn`t buy things on a Sunday or do knitting etc. No jeans, (pants) or make up. Would be laughed at today.

Hi Marilyn;

Seriously? There are various forms of Scottish dancing. So weren't they socially acceptable on a Friday or Saturday evenings?

When we played at the dances they were usually Friday or Saturday evenings.

God bless you.

Bob

I`m sure it would have been great times and good interaction with others. The (Christian) Scots, however, were very, very strict. Their Highland dancing they would seem different from general dancing with others. I`m sure it is all changed now though.

Good to hear!

Yes mam, the oldies are the goodies!

If you have not read Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost and his "Things To Come" book, I recommend it highly!

LOL.

When I was in high school back in the 50"s......the school offered a class called "Cotillion". It was simply square dancing but you would have thought that it was the end of the world. Parents rioted and complained so much that the school cancelled the class.
