The Middle East. (8) Israel becomes a Nation and Countdown.

Israel becomes a Nation.

Although God`s people Israel were scattered among the nations of the world God gave them a promise that He would bring them back to their own land.

`Thus says the LORD God; “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them every side and bring them into their own land.` (Ez. 37: 21)

The Arabs in the Middle East however opposed the establishment of a Jewish state. But amid these tensions Israel was a `nation born in a day.` The declaration of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, was a momentous event, marking the culmination of decades of Jewish nationalist aspirations and the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

Jesus told His people that when they were back in their homeland again that many other nations would have their independence: `all the trees.` (Luke 21: 29 – 31)

Some of these nations that gained independence were Iraq, Syria and Jordan. Thus, France and Britain withdrew from the Middle East. The Arab nations then began to arise against Israel. Many wars have been fought as Satan incited Israel`s neighbors to try and eliminate Israel. God however has continually had His hand on His people.

Countdown.

Jesus said - `Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will be no means pass away till all things are fulfilled.` (Luke 21: 32)

Thus, when Israel became a nation in 1948 God`s time clock began to wind down till He comes to deliver Israel and set up His rulership through them over the nations.

The Countdown started and is already 76 years on in 2025. Add the 7 last years of Israel chastisement and that generation would be 83. That terminal generation would be starting to pass way. Israel will still have to go through `Jacob`s trouble,` or the tribulation, as it is often called. The strength of the people of Israel will have to come to an end for them to call out to God to deliver them.

Marilyn God has been delivering his people all the way back to when paradise was lost to gentile and Jew alike. I see no mass conversions with this Christ rejecting rabble that lays claim to the land of Israel today. Now for over 50 yrs the majority of the impostors still remain unrepentant and unchanged when it comes to the gospel of Christ. At least the Mohammedans acknowledge Christ as a prophet and the Christian Palestinians a far bigger population of believers then Jewish Christians believe on Jesus as their Lord

God`s word says that the people of Israel will not accept Him till He reveals Himself to them.

`It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

`And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a first-born.` (Zech. 12: 10)

It is only by God`s Holy Spirit that we can change and so it is for Israel. We are a heavenly nation and Israel is an earthly nation. All in God`s great purposes for righteous government under Christ throughout God`s great Kingdom.

Wait until the Tribulation to see the elect ones acknowledge the Messiah. So the Mohammadans call Jesus a prophet, how very nice of them🙄, but he's not as important a prophet as their Muhammad. Also, remember they want murder all the followers of their "prophet" Jesus.

Bible lover yes you right the Mohammadan ones don’t fare much better in their outlook . Their gospel is all must submit to Allah or die the death.. but at least they show some respect to Jesus as a prophet but just not as God . IMG_4094.jpeg. But when it comes to Judaism they don’t even acknowledge that. They see Christ as a bastard child the offspring of a Roman soldier in some accounts from their Talmud. In other accounts within the Talmud they picture Christ boiling in hot excrement in hell judged as a fslse prophet. Their outlook upon the rest of the world is that we be just mere goyim or cattle at the disposal and good pleasure of the Jew to do with as they please. Be that sex with little boys and girls as mentioned in their Talmud or to murdering us in mass as witnessed with what was done to Russia in the 1917 revolution most were Jews in nearly all the important government positions that perpetuated the great slaughter in Russia. Seems they haven’t stopped killing prophets and their own Lord along with the first Christians commencing with the book of Acts. But I sure they acknowledge your support as with other like minded Zionist Christian’s as useful idiots to their cause: ) . But you still be Goyim nether the less. So do remember thet according to their Talmud which surpasses even the Torah in final interpretation. That being that even the best of goyim as yourself and your Christian Zionist friends deserve nothing more than death as your final reward. IMG_4094.jpeg. Now Major the only Israel of God I know of is the invisible Christian church where Christ does abound within in our hearts be that for Jew or gentile alike . The church is only one people ❤️not two. Marilyn God did save Israel from the Nations many times in its now fulfilled history. When you mention the Spirit of grace and supplication being poured out upon Israel. Doesn’t the book of Acts come to mind with that prophecy ???. The day of Pentecost being where Gods Spirit was poured out upon thousands of Jews and with many more for a season until the door closed in 70 AD . It be fulfilled scripture. As to a heavenly nation for the gentiles and a seperate earth nation for the Jews .. I would say to that that your resurrection body and my resurrection and a Jews resurrection body shall be exactly the SAME . In the new heavens and the new earth. The new earth shall be enjoyed by all alike and not just the Jews separately. Because there will only be one people. The people of God. No race distinctions. And God shall dwell with his people as one people . NOT TWO different Peoples ❤️ yours Prim

Major bobinfaith or one of our Bible scholars.

Would one or both of you answer in simple language so I and others can understand?

Is Israel STILL significant today? Are the Jewish people STILL His CHOSEN ones?

I have always believed that I am so blessed as a GENTILE to have been accepted ( grafted in ) as a Christian.

But I am also believing that ISRAEL and the Jewish people are special to God's heart...( still relevant in this day)... and as far as I am aware
God made a COVENANT with them.

I know my words are very simplistic... I would like to understand the answer but I can't follow the depth.

It seems that there is a deep schism in thinking on this matter. In this scenario... I do believe it is possible to get a RIGHT answer.

I hate to point this out, but the things you've written are old hat. Dr. Goebbels already said those things back in the 1930s.

Yes, God still has a plan for Israel. There are still promises and prophecies yet to be fulfilled concerning the Jewish nation. Those who espouse antisemitism will be quite surprised when they reap the fruits of their labors (Numbers 24:9).

Just one quick answer. We see in Revelation 144,000 witnesses for Christ, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel. We know that the Beast will sign a peace deal with Israel for 7 years, he will break it in 3½ years. Israel is critical to the end time prophecies. Ezekiel 38 and 39 describe a future battle against Israel. So, yes, Israel is still very relevant today.

Thank you for your response. My concern is that someone has worked very hard to present these threads on Israel as labour of LOVE ( in my opinion ) so therefore ... TRUTH is of upmost importance in these matters. Anything contrary to this would simply be mis-guided opinion.

I was interested in hearing if I am correct in believing that as a GENTILE... I am grafted into the plan of Salvation because of the MERCY of CHRIST.
Also... I am believing that Israel and the Jewish population are STILL God's chosen people.

You are right on all counts.

May I say to you that there is no one who is more simple in explaining the Word of God that me. Coming from the great Promised Land, it made me humble and simple.

Is Israel still significant today?
Absolutely. All of the biblical narrative is centered around Israel. As a pre-millennialist I view that the book of Revelation is in our future and thus Israel has a major role if not THE major role to play still in our modern times. When you read the End Times record it is clear to see that all of Escotology centers in and around Israel.

Are the Jewish people STILL His CHOSEN ones?
Throughout the Bible, the Israelites are referred to as God’s chosen people but the truth found in Genesis is that God choose
A MAN--Abraham. When you read the book of Genesis one thing you will notice is that there is no nation of Israel, that is because it did not exist. Read Genesis 12:1-3 to see that God choose Abraam and NOT Israel. It was from Abrham that came Israel as a nation.

Also, One of the reasons why God chose Israel to be his chosen people is because he needed someone to uphold his standards in the earth and to rightly record His written Word.

Yes You are blessed as we who are in Christ are.

I must agree. There is one seed (not seedS) of Abraham and that is Jesus Christ. And those who believe in Christ are the true Israel. As gentiles we have been grafted into the promise. Romans 11:11-31. Some of the branches (Israel) had been broken off because of their unbelief. But, those of Israel who do believe will be grafted back in.

I do not think as Christians we should be blindly supporting Israel because we've been falsely led to believe that it's our duty as Christians.

I guess this is where we have the right to exercise our opinions.

I had a Jewish pastor at one time. He was a converted Jew... and he had such a wonderful way of explaining this. At least it was easy for me to understand... which is the only reason I have a bit of an understanding.

I do not feel that God having a chosen people STANDS in the way of us INDEED all being ONE family. Our common denominator is of course the precious blood of JESUS CHRIST.

I am not able to throw away the historical and biblical fact that God made a covenant with His CHOSEN people. ( of which He will certainly fulfill ).
I'm not sure how people have found a way to DISMISS this and decide that it is now nil and void.

My brain is so simple.... I rejoice in the fact that I was INCLUDED as a gentile.... That gives me cause to REJOICE.

Romans 11:25-29 tells us that God has not forsaken His chosen people Israel.

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
