The Millennium: (10) Man`s Final Rebellion.

MAN`S FINAL REBELLION

God had always purposed that Israel would rule righteously over the nations, and this will come about in the millennium. This is the final opportunity for mankind to turn to God without the influence of Satan.

However, we see that many people still want their own way. If that happens then there will be consequences.

`And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.` (Zech. 14: 17 - 19)

`No rain,` produces no crops, famine, disease and plagues. This is God ruling with a `rod of iron.`

Over the centuries as generations come and go, many people will still have hard hearts towards God. Finally when the thousand years have finished, Satan will be released from the pit. He will go forth and deceive the nations. They will gather in huge numbers, once again outside Jerusalem.

`Now when the thousand years have been expired, Satan will be released from his prison and go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.` (Rev. 20: 7 - 9)

God sends fire down from heaven and brings this old sinful affected earth to a close.

`And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away. And there was no place found for them.` (Rev. 20: 9 - 11)

Israel the Jewish state or Israel being the church, the new Jerusalem?
"cocoa".

Isreal is not the church.

Jews, living in Isreal or otherwise can accept Jesus and then become a member of the Church.

Now, having said that, The New Jerusalem, which is also called the tabernacle of God, the Holy City is literally heaven on earth.
It is referred to in the Bible in several places, but it is most fully described in Revelation 21.

After God recreates the Earth there will be living in the eternal state......The Father and the Lamb, the Angels are at the gates and the city will be filled with God’s redeemed children.

Good morning, Marilyn;

I blue and red-lighted your thread and want to respond.

My wife and I follow the calendar reading of the Bible and are in the final study of Revelation. This is serious stuff and truth be told all this is really going to happen.

That doesn't mean it's all set in stone regarding our personal consequences with God. When we meet Him, God's purpose is to judge us for what we did for Him while on earth, not for our sins reference

2 Corinthians 5:10, 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. - NKJV

But, what about the final committed sins in our lives before we die? This is what Jesus teaches;

Luke 13:3-5, There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” - NKJV

Luke 24:46-49, 46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” - NKJV

1 John 1:5-10, 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. - NKJV

We cannot repent on our own terms because there is no way we're going to cover every single sin. What about the sin from 5, 10, 25, or 50 years ago that we overlooked or forgot and then suddenly die?

In my daily relationship with Jesus I struggle with this daily of my past sins or sins that I completely forgot about. Daily confession and repentance is many ways Christ works in us. Praise Him for that!

We are to confess and repent on God's terms. Jesus takes this into account and encourages us all to repent daily. The more we confess our sins the more we minimize our transgression and iniquities. The more we will receive God's forgiveness and redemption.

It's when we give no heed, or ignore and remain in disobedience. These are the people who don't feel the Scriptures pertain to them. Meantime they continue wanting it their way while on earth and later reap the eternal blessings for obedience. This what the Prophet Zechariah warns or what John in Revelation is passing on to us, not only Egypt, Israel, the Church or New Jerusalem, but all who choose God first.

Here's the Good News. God is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end reference Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22. The discipline is in between with the teachings of following Him, His wrath, discipline and warnings when we stray. As Marilyn shared, during the Millenium and especially today, "this is the final opportunity for mankind to turn to God without the influence of Satan."

every ting i Scripture posted is True . its my personal conviction that as a true Blue Born again Child of God we will know when we sin .certainly it make take several trips to God wood shed for us to get it .. i have failures let me tell you i fall short .. days i do good days i dont . this is the scary part that will measure us as true blue

{ It's when we give no heed, or ignore and remain in disobedience} Hebrews 12 :7-9 tells us what could be the problem

Hebrews 12:7-9
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

i have had a few trips to that wood shed . this is the good news
1 john3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

verse 21
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

here is more good news romans 8: 34

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

1 John 2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

i do not teach or preach we can live how we want if we want. the Holy spirit will convict us. the spirit of truth. its also in my personal conviction that we will be like the prodigal son and come to our senses . not saying we wont Waller in the mid eat with the pigs stain our garments as you pointed out 1 john 1:9 and verse 7

{These are the people who don't feel the Scriptures pertain to them. } i am sure they dont but guess what it does and there is a Good Chancre there NOT SAVED :eek: .. let me also be clear i understand the doctrine of eternal salvation .

YOU KNOW SCRIPTURE AS WELL AS I DO so this is not a correction . but a comment.. one thing i despise and that is preachers always wanting to correct the other preacher . if what they say does not line up with their Church doctrine. i know one group of Baptist if your not in their glee club your like Rudolph your excluded from any reindeer games.. in other words your welcome to the Church but that's all they have the correct theology as they think

as long as i am in Him and him in me i should have sense enough to take care of it.

Repentance isn't merely listing all the sins you've ever committed. It's having a change of mind and change of direction.
A daily effort to crucify the flesh and to pick up your cross.

Why be held captive to past sins? If God sees fit to forgive you, there is no reason to hold onto the guilt and shame. He has set you free. Be free.

if your saved you past is in the sea of forgetfulness. our salvation is more secure than that its kept by the power of God

Very well said, amen to your responses! This is all the more reason we need to share the Gospel.

Jesus' mission was not the righteous but the sinners who justify their arguments and disposition reference Luke 5:32.

God bless everyone.

Hello Marilyn;

I'm curious. Do you have up follow up post to The Millennium: (10) Man`s Final Rebellion?

God bless you for sharing this topic.

I agree, bob, that we, in the Body of Christ, (called out of Israel and out of the nations) are not judged by our sins for the Lord took those. I agree we are judged, (given rewards) for what we have done under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and not for self-aggrandizement. (1 Cor. 3: 11 - 15)

Now, in my comments of this thread I am specifically referring to those of the nations in the millennium under the Lord`s rule through Israel. They would need to repent otherwise consequences, (which I laid out)

This is the final opportunity for mankind to turn to God without the influence of Satan. However, we see that many people still want their own way. If that happens then there will be consequences.
