The Process Of Eating.

The Lord many years ago told me to begin writing down the things he had taught me through the years. This is just one on the topics he shared with me.

The Process of Eating

Eating food is a multi process, it is not just putting food into your mouth, even though that is a part
of eating. Eating also incorporates smelling which is something that usually happens before putting
food in your mouth. Seeing is also a part of the of eating process. You see the food before you partake
of it. Tasting, and feeling the texture of the food is another part to. Sometimes we hear whats being
cooked, in other words eating incorporates all of mans five physical senses, not just tasting. You see,
smell, touch, hear before you actually put it into your mouth. So seeing food is a part of the process of
eating, which means even though you have not put any food into your mouth, just the fact you are
seeing it you are also eating it! Jesus spoke of something very similar to this,

Mathew 5:28
(28) But I say to you thatwhoever looks at a woman to desire her has already
committed adultery with her in his heart.
Looking, and desiring a woman for physical pleasure in your heart is the same thing as actually
doing it! What we choose to look at is very important to our well being and future!
The Prophet Habakkuk said...

Habakkuk 1:13

(13) Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:
wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, andholdest thy tongue when the
wicked devoureth the man that ismore righteous than he?
God can not look upon evil, because he always gets what he sees! When he sees something that he
does not like, he turns from it so as not to give life to it! He does not want what he sees. “God protects
his heart above all things, because out of it proceeds, and flows the forces of life”
Proverbs 4:23
(23) Keep andguard your heart with all vigilanceand above all that you guard, for out of it
flow the springs of life.

We do not want to give life to something that is not holy, and just, so we must turn our self's from it
so as not to cause it to have life. Seeing is apart of eating!! Remember God told Adam not to eat from
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 2:15-17
(15) And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep
it.
(16)And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
(17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil andblessing and calamity you
shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
When God told Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the tree itself was
not evil, there was no poison in it that would kill him. As Genesis 1:30 tells us...
Genesis 1:31
(31) And Godsaw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the
evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God used this tree to test Adam's moral judgment, weather he would be obedient which brings
blessing, or disobedience which brings cursing! Death is the result of disobedience. The tree did not
bring or give death to Adam it was only an instrument for testing his obedience to Gods command.
The very last place you would expect Adam and Eve to be, after knowing not to eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, was standing right in front of it! God told Adam to keep the garden. The
word, “keep” means to keep your eye on, to protect it. You protect something by keeping your eye
upon it. Once you take your eyes off of it you are no longer protecting it! There are a lot things in this
world that we should not be looking upon, because if we do we will be asking for trouble. Don't' give
life to evil by looking at it, turn from it as God does. Looking at things that are not holy, and just you
begin eating from it like Adam, and Eve did. When the serpent spoke to Eve he caused her to begin to
question her contentment in what she already had in the garden.

Genesis 3:1-3
(1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And
he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the
garden?
(2)And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(3)But of the fruit of the tree which isin the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it,
neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

How many times in our own lives have we instead of looking at the things we do have, we begin
looking at things we don't have? We think, maybe we are missing out on something that someone else
has. Adam and Eve could eat from any tree in the garden except one. Sometimes we become
discontent in our lives by looking at the things we do not have instead of what we do have, as a result
we begin desiringfor something more, or maybe something we think is better. The definition of
the word, “desire”...
An emotion or excitement of the mind, directed to the attainment or possession of an object from
which pleasure, sensual, intellectual or spiritual, is expected. (Desire), when directed solely to
sensual enjoyment, differs little from appetite . (Desire), The feeling that accompanies an
unsatisfied state.

Genesis 3:6
(6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it waspleasant to the
eyes, and a tree to bedesiredto make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Becoming discontent can, and often brings about an appetitefor a desirethats can kill for you!
We must not do what Adam, and Eve did by standing and looking (eating) at the evil in this world, only
look at what the Spirit of God has revealed to us. God has revealed to us every thing he has prepared
for us by His Spirit.

Hebrews 13:5
(5) Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must becontentwith what you have,
for he has said, "I will never leave you and I will never abandon you."
4
Genesis 3:4-5
(4)And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and
ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Possibly, Eve was thinking, “maybe God is holding something back from us. Why can't we eat from
every tree in the garden?” God does, (so she thought) so why can't we? “….ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil. “ The Lord holds nothing back from us, he has given us all things richly to
enjoy. As the Apostle James says, “you have not because you ask not...”(James 4:2) Simply asking the
Lord for what ever information we do not have will result to receiving that answer from him!
As the scriptures reveal to us, Eve was deceived by the serpent, but Adam knowing what was
happening just went along with his wife. They both fell into sin by there disobedience, Eve by
deception, Adam by knowing it was wrong but doing it anyway. It is interesting that both Adam and
Eve fell into sin in the same way the devil did. He (the Devil) wanted to be like God, he wanted to
exalt his throne above the stars of God.

Isaiah 14:13-14
(13) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars
of God:I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
(14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Part of the deception to Adam and Eve was,”you shall be like God....” They were already created in
the image of God. Maybe they thought there was more they needed. Adam fell because he allowed
himself to filled with violence just like Lucifer in the book of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 628:14-16
(14)Thou artthe anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:thou wast upon the holy
mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
(15)Thou wastperfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
(16) By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou
hast sinned:therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy
thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Remember a violent person is not just someone who physically hurts people, but can, and often is a
person who is soft spoken, polite, well mannered, gentile, and likable. There downfall is they do not
think through the consequences of there actions. Lucifer had gained so much wealth through the
multitude of his traffic it caused him to be filled with violence. His thinking became clouded to where
he did not think through the consequences of his actions, and just did them anyway. That was the
same thing that happened to Adam, he knew it was wrong but did it anyway.
Adam and Eve should have only kept there eyes on what God told them to, the garden. When we
begin to look at the things in this physical world, you begin to eat of its fruit, and as a result we get
ourselves in to trouble. Remember the words of James,

James 1:13-15
(13)Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempteth he any man:
(14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
(15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished,
bringeth forth death.

Anytime we break a command of God it brings guilt, condemnation, shame, fear, and the not
knowing whats going to happen next. In other words death.
This world lies in wickedness, and darkness as the Apostle Johns tells us in the
5 chapter of 1 John...

1 John 5:19
(19) Andwe know that we are of God, andthe whole world lieth in wickedness.
Keeping our eyes on only what is good is absolutely the only way to change this world in which we
live! No amount of money or feeding the poor will do it, we must use the power of faith if we are going
to change anything! The Church today is responsible for the condition of this world, and we are not
doing what was commanded us from God. We are to pray his Kingdom come, his will be done on earth
as it is in heaven! We are not doing this, because we don't know how. Remember God gave Adam
dominion over all the works of his hands, and then he lost it when he fell, and now Jesus has restored
that back to us through his death and resurrection! Jesus said...

Luke 10:19-20
(19) Behold,I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy:and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
(20) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice,
because your names are written in heaven.
Yet with all this power we have we still read in 1 John, “..the whole world lieth in
wickedness.” There is a big problem here. We are the heirs of this world, it belongs to us, why is the
whole world under the control of the wicked one when we have all powerover him? I will tell you
why, and how to fix this problem!

Romans 8:1-7
(1) Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
(This is what killed Adam and Eve, the guilt and shame of disobeying God. Their conscience
brought them condemnation! They had never experienced this before, and as an attempt to get rid of
it, they sewed fig leaves together to cover their shame and guilt. Guilt, shame, and fear is a killer. Do
you know why people feel guilty when they do wrong? Because they are! The only thing that can take
our guilt away is the blood of Jesus Christ!!) “Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of
sins.”(Heb 9:22)
(2)For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
(3)For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did:sending His own Son in
the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offeringfor sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,
(4)so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh
but according to the Spirit.
(5) For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh,
but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
(6)For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
(7) because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law
of God, for it is not even able to do so,(NASB)

For us to be able to change this world we first have to live and dwell in the spirit. This is were
things originate and start from. We don't start in the flesh and wind up in the spirit, we start in the
spiritual realm. There is nothing we can do in the physical world to change it! Notice verse 5 it says, “
those who walk in the flesh have there minds set on the things of the flesh” Do we really know
what it means to “set our mind, or to have a mindset” of the flesh. The King James Bible says, “ For
they that are after the fleshdo mindthe things of the flesh” What does the Greek word mean for
..”do mind”? It does notmean to have your mind preoccupied with the things of the flesh, which most
people believe it to mean. It means, “mindset, outlook, or world view”. When our minds are
preoccupied with this world by seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and touching things, it causes us to
form an outlook, or world view. When we watch TV and listen to the news we hear about our
government and the different political party's trying to guide our country, Then we hear about, and
see news clips about other parts of the world, and whats happening there. Because of these things we
form and shape an world view. This is what a mindset of the flesh is, its an outlook that is based on
information gained through the senses of the flesh. Lets read this same verse from the New English
Translation Bible

(NET)
Romans8:5-7
(5) For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by
5
the things of
the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the
things of the Spirit.
(6)For the outlook
of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
(7)because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it
able to do so.

In the same way the flesh shapes our outlook by the things we hear, see, feel, taste and touch, the
Spirit also shapes our outlook, except it is with our spiritual senses. You either live according the flesh
or according to the Spirit, not both at the same time! Now lets read verse 6...
For the outlook

of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit islife and peace,
When your outlook is shaped by the flesh, all you see is death!!!! Sometimes I hear other Christians
say, “Well if President Obama gets re-elected, this whole country is going down the tubes, If Iran gets a
nuke, we are all done for. etc etc etc, all they see is death. They are getting all there information via the
flesh, which has created a world view. They are foreseeing bad things coming. This is really bad for us
the Church, because we always get what we see. If all we see is death then that is all we are going get.
Remember Jesus told us,

Matthew 12:35 KJV
(35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and
an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
If all we are seeing and looking at is what the world already sees, then we are operating no
different than the world! Instead of changing this worlds we are actually helping it get worse.
I don't know if you know this but this world belongs to us, we are heirs of this world, not the Devil!!
We are responsible for whats going on here!! Remember what the Book of Hebrews tells us about
Jesus ...

Hebrews 10:12-13
(12)But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of
God;
(13) From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Jesus died 2 thousand years ago, and from that time on he has been expecting his enemies to be made
his footstool!!! Who is going to do that, who is going to make Jesus's enemies his footstool? Since we
( the Church) have all the power over him (the Devil), I guess thats falls upon us! Somebody might
say,” it is God who is going to put all things under him”, in fact that is what the Bible says...

Hebrews 2:6-8
(6)But one testified in a certain place, saying, "What is man, that You are mindful of him; or the son
of man, that You visit him?
(7)You have made him a little lower than theangels. You crowned him with glory and honor and set
him over the works of Your hands.
(8) You subjected all things under his feet." For in subjecting all things to Him, He
did not leave anything not subjected to Him. But now we do not see all things having been
subjected to him.
Our Heavenly father has put every thing under Jesus's feet, He left nothing not under his control.
Jesus is our heard and we are his body. That means everything is under our control also! But notice
what it says in the last part of this verse.
“…..But now we do not seeall things having been subjected to him.”
The problem is we are not seeing everything under his control, but we are suppose to. We should
be seeing Jesus crowned with Glory and honor!
Hebrews 2:9
(9) But we see Jesus, who wasmade a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death,
crowned with glory and honor, that He by thegrace of God should taste death for all.
Luke 10:19-20
(19) Behold,I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy:and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
We are not doing a very good job are we? Now lets read verse 6-7 from Romans 8....
Romans 8:6-7
(6) For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
(7) because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of
God, nor is it able to do so.

The believer who's outlook is formed by the Spirit of God, all they see is life!!!!! life!!! LIFE!!!!
Verse 7 “...because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God....” Death is the enemy of God!
“...For the outlook of the flesh is death...”, “...because the outlook of the flesh is hostile
to God....”What is happening in the world today is (hostile) the enemy of God. He does not like what
he sees, so turns from it so as not to give it life. What God gives life to is what the Spirit shapes and
forms as our outlook!! “..but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace” Faith is the only thing
that can change this world, and it's what we see that is shaped by the Spirit of God which is our
outlook. What we see (outlook) is what we get, everything else is death!
(7) because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law
of God, nor is it able to do so.

Everything we see in this world with our physical senses is hostile (enemy) to God. Because it is not
subject to the law of God (KJV). It's not one of the subjects of the laws of God or faith. You can not find
it in any of the precepts or concepts of faith! You can not change something by looking at it in the
physical, but by looking at what the Spirit shows us, “The outlook of the Spirit is life”. If we don't see
by faith God's Kingdom here on earth, then it will not come! Like I have said before, there are no
surprises to those who walk by faith. The only people who will be surprised are those who walk in
darkness!

2Corinthians 4:17-18
(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding
and eternal weight of glory;
(18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not
seen:for the things which are seen aretemporal; but the things which are not seen areeternal.
God's power which dwells inside each of us (His Glory) only works for us as our outlook is looking
at the things that can not be seen with our physical eyes, but spiritual eyes of our heart. The outlook of
the Spirit is life! Let us not look at or eat from the fruit of this worlds view because it will bring you
death. Always remember light brings blindness. The light of darkness blinds our spiritual eyes to
God's Kingdom, but opens our eyes to this world. God's light blinds us to the things of this world, but
opens our spiritual eyes to God's Kingdom.
