I listened to a video the other day that brought clarity
on what it means for the believer to love God. On the
one hand, we keep the words of Jesus as an act of
love.
By the same love, we will not trust our obedience but
rather boast all the more in our Beloved Lord whose
act of love toward us constrains us. To trust something
other than the atoning work of Christ is to rob Him of
his glory.
