The Word of Truth shall be preached to all the churches in this coming time. How will men respond to the “strangers” that will be sent to them?
Luke 10:16 KJV
(16) He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
Will they receive them or will they speak evil of them? Will they “entertain strangers” and their words by letting brotherly love continue or will they despise and respond with contention and wrath?
Hebrews 13:1-2 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.
(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
The first part of the lie of the serpent is the message of “peace and safety”. To “die” is to “kill” another with the sword of the tongue….that is, to speak evil of another. When one does not love his brother, he is a “murderer”. We are to have love for the brothers who will come preaching the Word of Truth in this coming time.
1 John 3:14-15 KJV
(14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
(15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
By “killing” another with evil speaking in judgment of that person, one shall not die…so the thinking will go.
Young's Literal Translation
Genesis 3:4
And the serpent saith unto the woman, 'Dying, ye do not die,
The time comes when whosoever will “kill” you will think that they are doing God “service”. This is part of the lie. By “killing” another, we shall not die for we are ministering to God by doing these things…which is the lie.
John 16:1-3 KJV
(1) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
(2) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
(3) And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
Like Diotrephes, who loved to be first among the churches, they will not receive the brothers who will speak the Word of Truth to them and they will cast out of their churches any who will “entertain strangers” in this coming time of the revelation of the Truth.
3 John 1:9-11 KJV
(9) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
(10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
We are instructed to follow that which is good….and not follow the pernicious ways of “Diotrephes” whose ways were evil toward the preaching of the brothers (the “strangers”) who were sent to the churches.
(11) Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
We can not cover ourselves with “Lord, Lord” and do not the things which He says (for example: to have love for one another).
Luke 6:45-46 KJV
(45) A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
(46) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
They will believe a lie….and will think that they will be doing God “service” by killing others….for “God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof…” They will think that they will have God’s approval to behave badly towards anyone that they will not agree with.
They will profess themselves to be wise…. “your eyes shall be opened”. They shall see themselves as “gods”… elohim, which also means “judges”. They will act as judges for they will know good and evil as they will be judge, jury and executioner of those they will not entertain by speaking evil of them…as “evil doers”.
Genesis 3:4-5 KJV
(4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
We find this paraphrased in the book of James. He that speaks evil of his brother judges his brother. He is being a JUDGE….that is, a “god”. They will see themselves as judges…”gods”…which is part of the lie.
There is only ONE Lawgiver. We are to be a doer of the “law” of Christ: to have love for each other. When one behaves badly towards his brother who will preach something he or she will not agree with, then that person is not a doer of the law which is to have love. Having love fulfills the law.
Judge= elohim= gods.
James 4:11-12 KJV
(11) Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
(12) There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
The eating of the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil” is the using the same mouth to bless God and curse men. We can not use our mouths to curse men who are made in His similitude (the brothers who come preaching the Word of Truth). We are not blessing God by doing so. We are not doing Him “service” by being a judge of others.
James 3:5-12 KJV
(5) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
(6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
(7) For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
(8) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
(9) Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
(10) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(11) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
Men are as TREES!
Mark 8:24 KJV
(24) And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
Every tree is known by his “fruit”. Every mouth will speak what is the abundance of the heart in its response to the Word of Truth spoken by “strangers”. We are to remember to let brotherly love continue at all times and not be found “sleeping” in wrath, pride and contention.
Luke 6:43-44 KJV
(43) For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
(44) For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
We are to taste the good Word of God and not crucify the Son of God with an evil response to His words of life and spirit.
Hebrews 6:4-10 KJV
(4) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
(5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
(6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
We are to “drink” in the rain that comes often upon our hearts through the hearing of His good Word. We are to bring forth good fruit towards the hearing of His words….
(7) For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
….and not bring forth out of the mouth evil words of contention and wrath.
(8) But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
(9) But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
God will not forget our “work” and labor of love which will be showed toward His authority…His name…at the hearing of the Word of God (the “rain” which falls upon our hearts).
(10) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the “fruit” thereof. The “power” = the Hebrew word “yad” which is the “hand” of the tongue. What fruit shall we reach for in our response to those who will come preaching the Word of Truth?
Proverbs 18:20-21 KJV
(20) A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
(21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Of every tree of the garden we may free eat. That is, there is no law against the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…..
Genesis 2:16-17 KJV
(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But we are not to use our mouths to bless God (knowledge of good) and curse other men (knowledge of evil). We are to have love for each other.
(17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Galatians 5:22-26 KJV
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory and reach out to speak evil….taking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory….to profess to be wise and behave by provoking another…envying another.
Genesis 3:6-7 KJV
(6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among us? Let those not be like the woman in the garden but let us show out of good behavior in our works with meekness of wisdom.
James 3:12-18 KJV
(12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
(13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
We are free to eat of the trees of the garden….which is full of compassion and good works. Hypocrisy = blessing God and using our mouths for bad behavior in an evil response of contention of the Word spoken in our ears.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
