The Woman In The Garden....

We are free to eat of every tree of the garden…..that is, there is no law against eating of the fruit of the Spirit: joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. We may freely “eat” of these things.

Death and life is in the power of the tongue and we “eat” of its fruit. We are to choose life and not death….for what comes out of the mouth is what defiles the mortal body. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Again, there is no law against eating the fruit of the Spirit…we may “eat” freely thereof.

Genesis 2:16

(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat…..that is, we are free to eat of the fruit of the Spirit which is love , joy, peace for there is no law against it.

Galatians 5:22-26 KJV

(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

But there is the law of sin and death.

Genesis 2:17 KJV
(17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

We are not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil….blessing God while cursing men with the same mouth…and live. The tongue is an unruly evil, full of death-bringing poison. We use it to speak evil of others. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it shall eat the “fruit” of it.

James 3:8-18 KJV

(8) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
(9) Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

Men are as trees….bearing fruit. Out of the mouth proceeds blessing (good) and cursing of other men (evil). These things ought not be.

(10) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(11) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

The woman in the garden desired to be seen as wise…..desirous of vain glory…. and in envy spoke evil of another. Those who are truly wise and endued with knowledge are to show this with their good behavior. The wisdom that is from above is pure then peaceable….

(13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

As the woman in the garden, many that desire to be seen as wise “eat” of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil: they use their mouths to bless God AND to also curse men…..judging others.

Being desirous of vain glory, they provoke one another with their carnal commandments….doctrines and commandments of men that lead them away from the Truth as they show no love for one another.

They envy one another.

They set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the traditions (transmissions) of men. We are as carnal….living in the envy and strife of the denominations of men where many are weak and sick and multitudes are dying because they come together not for the better but for the worse.

(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

The woman added a carnal commandment to the commandment of God: “…NEITHER SHALL WE TOUCH IT….”.

Genesis 3:

(1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
(2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Why are we subject to the ordinances of men (TOUCH NOT, taste not, handle not) which are to perish with the using. Men judge each other over their carnal ordinances and many are perishing away to the grave because of it.

Colossians 2:20-23 KJV

(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
(22) Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
(23) Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

We are not to be as “gods”…that is, JUDGES. There is only One Lawgiver: God. Whoever speaks evil of his brother, judges his brother. If we do act as a judge, then we are not a doer of the law of Christ: to have love for one another.

James 4:11-12 KJV

(11) Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
(12) There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

to be continued...

Genesis 2:23 KJV

(23) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

The woman is taken out of the man. Those things which proceed out of the mouth (the tongue is the “woman”) come from the heart…..the “hidden man” of the heart. “She” is called “woman” for she is taken out of the hidden man of the heart.

“She” speaks what is in the hidden man of the heart. The evil things that come out of the mouth comes OUT of the heart (the hidden man of the heart) and these things defile the “man”…the mortal body. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it eat the fruit of it.

Matthew 15:17-20 KJV

(17) Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
(18) But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
(19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
(20) These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

This “little” part of the body….the tongue…. has the greatest impact upon the mortal body….for it can defile the WHOLE BODY.

James 3:5-6 KJV

(5) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
(6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

The “wife”….the TONGUE…is to be in subjection to the “hidden man” of the heart. We are to refrain our tongues from speaking evil so that others may listen to us even if they do not obey the Word.

1 Peter 3:1-4 KJV

(1) Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
(2) While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

We are not to use our lips for speaking deceit…..the “outward adorning” of the “woman”. Let us not deceive others with good words and glittering speeches in order to get unjust gain.

(3) Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be in the “hidden man” of the heart the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit…that is, a meek and quiet BREATH. With the spirit….breath…do we exhale and the tongue forms words of what is in our hearts. “She” is the help mate to the hidden man of the heart. “She” is the weaker vessel.

(4) But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

“She” is to be in subjection to the “hidden man” of the heart. Peter summarizes:

1 Peter 3:10-11 KJV

(10) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
(11) Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

We are to have love for one another. This is the commandment from the beginning that we are to WALK in.

2 John 1:4-6 KJV

(4) I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
(5) And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

This is love: that we walk after His commandments. We have “heard” this from the beginning.

(6) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

God walked in the garden in the “cool” of the day. The Hebrew word translated as “cool” is “wind” or SPIRIT. We are counseled to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh of envy and strife…speaking evil of one another. We are to be children of the day and walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Genesis 3:
(8) And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
(9) And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

This is the Way. Walk in it. The Spirit shall guide as if by any means we start to stray off the path of righteousness.

Isaiah 30:21 KJV

(21) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

But Adam was afraid….and hid himself. He did not hear and obey to walk in the Spirit of the Day as he FEARED.

Genesis 3:

(10) And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

There is NO FEAR in complete love. We are to love one another. If we do not walk in His commandments, then we FEAR. Fear has to do with punishment. We fear getting diseases…we fear growing old…we fear decay of the mortal body….we fear death. Death is in the power of the tongue…and we FEAR when we eat of the fruit of it.

1 John 4:16-21 KJV

(16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
(17) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

He that fears is not made perfect in love. We actually have to have love for one another. We actually have to DO His commandments in order to have complete love and not live in fear of death…. which is rendered idle if we hear and believe (DO His commandments).

(18) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
(19) We love him, because he first loved us.

If a man say “I love God” and hates his brother, he is a liar for he that does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? He that loves God loves his brother also.

(20) If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

If we keep His Word….His commandment…. to have love for one another, our love for God is made complete and there is NO FEAR of death in complete love.

(21) And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

We can not say “I love God” and yet hate our brothers. We can not cover ourselves with this kind of thinking. We can not say “Lord, Lord” and our mortal flesh be saved when we do not show love for our brothers. There are no works of righteousness…no carnal ordinances of men… that can cover ourselves to change that Truth.

Genesis 3:

(7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Let us hear His voice and walk in the Spirit of the Day….being children of the Day. We can not say we love God whom we have not seen (hiding ourselves from His face) when we hate our brothers that we have seen. Our sins hide His face. They hid themselves from the face of Him among the TREE (it is singular….not plural in the Hebrew) of the garden. Which “tree” did they hide amidst? Certainly not the “tree of life”.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Let us hear His Voice and walk in the Spirit of Truth….

Isaiah 30:21-23 KJV

(21) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

….and cast away all of men’s carnal ordinances and falsehoods that we once covered ourselves with. Let us cast off the works of darkness. We are not redeemed by their covetous doctrines nor their covetous commandments. We are not redeemed with their corruptible things, as silver and gold, from the vain conversation received by tradition from the fathers.

(22) Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

Then the “ground” shall no longer be cursed…..

(23) Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

If we change the Truth of God (to have love for one another) into THE lie of the serpent and worship and serve the “creature”…the carnal ordinances of men…. which were all motivated by man’s covetousness….more than the Creator then we shall die. “Creature” = Greek “ktisis” = “formation, building, creation, creature, ordinance.”

Many are dying because they set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the carnal ordinances of men before keeping His commandment. We are to worship and serve Him by doing His commandments.

Romans 1:25 KJV

(25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
But many lay aside…they reject…. the commandment of God to have love for one another (the commandment from the beginning) so that they may keep their own tradition (transmission of ordinances) of men. They worship Him in vain teaching for doctrines the commandments of men…sewing fig leaves together to cover themselves . They are found without true works of righteousness.

Mark 7:6-9 KJV

(6) He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
(7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
(9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

The Pharisees and scribes found “fault”…blame….in the disciples that did not wash their hands before they did eat bread. How many denominations are doing this very thing (finding fault) with each other because of their carnal commandments? All of them. They judge each other over them and have no love for one another. If we judge another, we are not a doer of the law: to have love for one another. There is only ONE Lawgiver who said to have love for one another. We can not be as “gods”…that is, JUDGES…who know what is right and wrong for others.

Mark 7:1-3 KJV

(1) Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
(2) And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
(3) For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders
.

Don’t believe THE lie of the serpent who said to the woman: “Ye shall not surely die” = literally “Dying, you shall not die”. In other words, by “killing” another with our tongues as a judge, we shall not die. Those who do “kill” others with their words do not have “peace and safety” to do so. They are perishing away to the grave even now as the law of sin and death takes them away. The tongue is the “weaker vessel” that is deceived into speaking. Death and life are in the power (hand) of the tongue.

Genesis 3:

(4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

They think that they are doing God “service” for doing these things: “For God doth know…”. They want to be seen as wise (desirous of vain glory) for judging others: “then your eyes shall be opened” . Ye shall be as “gods”…. “Elohim”…that is, “JUDGES”.

A judge knows what is good and evil. A “judge” condemns others as “evil doers” because others do not follow their particular carnal commandment of men which have been motivated by man’s hidden covetousness. They profess themselves wise and in the process their foolish hearts are darkened.

(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The tongue (the “woman”) is in the transgression when it is deceived into speaking evil of another…judging another. Let us not follow after those who behave in evil but wake up to His righteousness. The tongue gives fruit to the mortal body…..in this case: death. It is the weaker vessel but is responsible for bringing death to the body.

The tongue is the extension of the mortal body. It is bone of our bones and flesh of our flesh….and we if use it to sow after the flesh, we shall reap decay of the mortal flesh until our mortal bodies die so that the spirit (breath) may be saved. It shall bring forth sorrows. It is a little member of the body but has the largest impact on our lives. The tongue defiles the “man”….giving it the fruit of death.

(6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The hidden man of the heart is drawn away of his own lust and enticed into speaking evil with his tongue. Death is in the power of the tongue as it brings forth sin…speaking evil. The wages of sin is death. When “it is finished”, it brings forth death.

James 1:14-16 KJV

(14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
(15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(16) Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Because we “hearkened unto the voice of our wife” who added the carnal commandment (we shall not TOUCH it) and are judging others with it, then we shall die. We can not bless God and curse men with our mouth and live…eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Because we cease not to change our minds about these things….knowing that the fruit of these things is death, then the mortal body (the “ground”= “adamah”) is cursed. It will bring forth decay as the freshness of youth is eaten away by our sins. The law of sin and death is in effect when we continue (for Adam’s eating was continuous in the Hebrew tense) in speaking evil of another…keeping company with those who do and affirming their teachings and commandments.

Genesis

(17) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
(18) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
(19) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Be not deceived…..for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap also. We do not have "peace and safety" to continue to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For if he sows to the flesh then shall of the flesh (the “ground”) shall he reap corruption. His mortal body shall bring forth thorns and thistles…tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that does evil. It will bring the hidden man of the heart sorrow as our mortal bodies decay away to the grave.

Galatians 6:7-8 KJV

(7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

to be continued....

Let us hear the sound of our LORD God walking in the Spirit of the Day. Let us walk with Him. If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit and not be as the woman in the garden who desired to be wise….desirous of vain glory…and provoke one another with our tongues in envy and strife. We can not “cover” ourselves with our “works of righteousness” ….the doctrines and commandments of men as they lead us astray from the Truth.

Galatians 5:25-26 KJV
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

The Law is fulfilled in ONE WORD….one “SAYING”: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. This is the “Word”…the SAYING….that we are to fulfill always. This is to “walk in the Spirit”.

Galatians 5:13-16 KJV
(13) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
(14) For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(15) But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
(16) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

For men have entered in among us “unawares” in order to bring us into bondage with their doctrines and commandments of men that lead us astray away from fulfilling that Saying: to have love for one another. They say and do these things after the hidden covetousness of their hearts.

Galatians 2:3-4 KJV
(3) But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
(4) And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

We are to awake for men have been sowing the “tares” among the wheat while men “slept”. Just as men are about to produce fruit unto eternal life then the “tares” appear also and prevent His life from appearing through them as they are led astray by the doctrines and commandments of men that were sown by an enemy. the life of Jesus is to appear also in our mortal flesh.

Matthew 13:24-27 KJV
(24) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
(25) But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
(26) But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
(27) So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

As Christians, we had a good start….but then came the tares that did hinder us so that we should not obey the Truth: to have love for one another.

Galatians 5:7-9 KJV
(7) Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
(8) This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
(9) A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

How is it that many that are known of God will turn again to weak and beggarly elements? This persuasion comes not of Him that calls us. The “tares” are sown by an enemy who want to lead us into their bondage with their carnal commandments

Galatians 4:9-10 KJV
(9) But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
(10) Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

They “zealously affect” us but not for the better. They want to seemingly exclude us so that we want to be with them in their churches…..like an exclusive club that people want to be a part of just because it is exclusive….making it more desirous to be in it.

Galatians 4:16-17 KJV
(16) Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
(17) They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them
.

Do not listen to the “wife”…the tongue… who speaks good words and fair speeches. Don’t let the other tongues of men deceive you into speaking what they speak. Do not “marry” their teachings and commandments….making it your tongue as well. We are to put away that “wife” because of the fornication.

Proverbs 5:1-13 KJV
(1) My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
(2) That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
(3) For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

(4) But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

Her feet go down to death….death of the mortal body. Her steps take hold on the grave.

(5) Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
(6) Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.
(7) Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
(8) Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
(9) Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

Do not let strangers be filled with your wealth and your labors be in their house. They are eager to gain from others.

(10) Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

At the last we shall mourn…. when our flesh and our mortal body are consumed…. that we should have listened to the instruction and not sat together with strangers who set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the traditions of men.

(11) And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
(12) And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
(13) And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

If we live after the flesh in their divisions of envy and strife , we shall die. Men are carnal when they live in divisions and envy and strife.

Romans 8:12-13 KJV
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

The wages of sin is death….death to the mortal body so that the spirit may be saved. The mortal body is dust and it returns to the dust as punishment for the sins of the tongue. No longer will our tongue speak evil or anything in this earth.

We are to awake to His righteousness for the things we are doing in “church” always end in death. There are many church cemeteries out there as evidence that no ordinance of man has ever saved the mortal body. We are not redeemed by their things which they speak out of the hidden covetousness of their hearts. They want to bring you into their bondage of men and keep you there until your death.

We are to awake to His righteousness as the kindness and love of God our Savior appears to us now and according to His mercy saves us from those who are living in error in the denominations of men. We can no longer sit with them being disobedient, deceived, living in malice and envy, hating one another. Our “works of righteousness” that we have done do NOT save us. They do not “cover” our sins. They do not save the mortal flesh and we need to be delivered from them and from those who have kept us their prisoner in “church” with their carnal commandments and doctrines.

Titus 3:2-7 KJV
(2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
(3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

(4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
(5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
(6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
(7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

For the judgment for the doing of these things is DEATH…death of the mortal body. Yet, many sit together in the denominations of men with pleasure with those who do them knowing this. They return to till the ground from where they were taken out of.

Romans 1:28-32 KJV
(28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
(29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
(30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
(31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
(32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

For men JUDGE each other (ye are as “gods”= judges). They are condemning themselves to death. If we judge another, we are not a doer of the law to have love for one another.

Romans 2:1-3 KJV
(1) Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
(2) But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
(3) And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

The good news is also preached to them that are “dead” ( the "dead" do not DO His commandments so that their mortal bodies are saved) so that they might be judged according to men in the flesh so that their spirit may live to God.

1 Peter 4:6 KJV
(6) For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

God gives them over to a reprobate (rejected) mind to do those things which are not convenient. They are judged as men in the flesh (coats of skins) where their mortal bodies die from this earth so that their spirits may be saved.

Genesis 3:21-24 KJV
(21) Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

They have become as judges as they judge each other….

(22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

He gives them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient.

(23) Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

They return to “till the ground” from where they were taken. It would have been better for them to have not known the WAY of righteousness than after having known it, to turn from the holy commandment (have love for one another) that was delivered to them. The sow after being washed returned to the wallowing in the mire.

2 Peter 2:21-22 KJV
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

The Way of righteousness is guarded. We are to WALK in that WAY by walking in the Spirit and NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh (behaving in envy and strife as we speak evil of another…judging another).

Genesis 3:
(24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

God had formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. The Hebrew word for “nostrils” also means “wrath”.

Genesis 2:7 KJV
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Of His own will does He generate us with the Word of Truth so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. He takes us from all of His creation to breathe the Spirit into us….the breath of life. The whole world lies in wickedness but by His will He begets us as His own special people to know Him. He forms us out of the common men....the "dust of the ground".

James 1:18-22 KJV
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures
.

God breathed into the “nostrils” the breath of life. “Nostrils” = wrath.

(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Man becomes a “living soul” by laying apart all of the evil words and receive with meekness the engrafted Word. The Word = have love for one another even when a “stranger” may be preaching something that seems unusual. Be swift to hear and slow to speak and slow to wrath.

(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

to be continued....

The “simplicity” that is in Christ is to simply have love for one another. But the “serpent” is more subtle than any beast of the field…and so are his ministers. It is no surprise that they come to us posing as apostles ( “sent”) of Christ and speak great swelling words of vanity in order to get gain from those they lead astray after them.

2 Corinthians 11:2-7 KJV
(2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
(3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

They use their flattering tongues to preach for money (after the covetousness that is hidden in their hearts) even though the true apostles preached the gospel of God freely and are our examples that we are to follow. The false apostles preach another Jesus whom the apostles have not preached. MANY receive them and are led astray from the holy commandment to have love for one another unto the destruction of the flesh.

(4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
(5) For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
(6) But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
(7) Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

They are transformed as the “ministers of righteousness” as they seek to bring us into their bondage of carnal doctrines and commandments of men that lead us away from the new commandment of Jesus who said we are to love one another as He loved us and gave His life for us.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
(13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
(14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
(15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

If we listen to them who promise liberty but are themselves the servants of corruption, then we shall be entangled in the thorns and thistles and overcome. Our latter end is worse with them than the beginning. …..Cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

….Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee….as we shall be entangled by them and overcome. We are “OVERCOME” by them bringing us into their bondage….for if a man is overcome of the same is he brought in bondage. It will bring us sorrows as we become servants of corruption….decay…as we participate in their divisions, envying and strife over the doctrines and commandments of men that do not save any one.

2 Peter 2:18-22 KJV
(18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

We are not to listen to the carnal commandments of men ( as the woman said in the garden for example : “do not TOUCH”). If we follow after the false prophets who promise peace and safety, then we shall find ourselves judging others who do not follow our particular carnal commandment thereby turning from the holy commandment. We can NOT set aside His commandment in order to keep the traditions of men who desire to be teachers of the Law but have no idea of what they are talking about nor of what they are affirming.

We can not bless God and curse men with the same mouth when we speak evil of others who do not follow our carnal commandments that were motivated by the hidden coveting of men’s hearts who want to bring us into their bondage so that they may gain something from us.

When the unclean spirit (the breath of men that judge others in their evil) is gone out of a man as he speaks his evil with the exhalation of a breath motivated by envy and speaks evil words, the unclean breath walks through dry places seeking rest and finds none.

Matthew 12:43-45 KJV
(43) When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Instead of resting upon the intended recipient, it comes back to him and finds the Word not in his hearts as he does not practice having love for one another. The “house” is found empty.

(44) Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

The last state of that man is worse than the first as men wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived as they behave in their envying and striving with one another. They increase into more ungodliness as their words do eat as a canker.

(45) Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

If we eat of the “tree” by using our mouth to bless God and also to curse other men, the ground shall bring forth thorns and thistles. We shall be ENTANGLED in the thorns and thistles and overcome as we become servants of corruption sowing after the flesh and reaping decay of our mortal flesh. Our latter end is worse than the beginning. It would have been better for us if we had not known the Way rather than knowing it and turning from the holy commandment that was given to us by Him our Lord.

Genesis 3:17-19 KJV
(17) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
(18) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
(19) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

In the sweat of our “face” …that is, “nostrils”....WRATH, shall we eat our bread until we return unto the ground. We fight and war in the denominations of men where envy and strife are found. Where envy and strife are found, there is confusion and every evil work. Man’s work is a result of his envy of another and he “sweats” under the rising “sun” of the wrath of God where the glory of man fades away in His heat.

James 4:1-8 KJV
(1) From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
(2) Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
(3) Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

The world lies in wickedness. We can not share in common these things with the world. The spirit of the world lusts to envy….and where there are envy and strife there is confusion and every evil work. We can not be a “friend of the world”…for being a friend of the world is being the enemy of God.

(4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(5) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
(6) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
(7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
(8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Are we not walking as men…as men of the world…when there is among us envying, strife and divisions? Are we not carnal in these things? To be carnally-minded is death. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work…and we are a “friend of the world” when we follow after such behavior.

1 Corinthians 3:1-4 KJV
(1) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
(2) I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
(3) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
(4) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

The world passes away and the lust thereof. That is, the world IS PASSING away NOW and the lust also IS PASSING away NOW. This is a PRESENT, continuous thing for the people of the world are decaying away to the grave as they pursue the things of this world in their envying and strife.

But he that does the will of God ABIDES unto the coming Age. We, who will do the will of God, shall not decay (perish) away to the grave but have an Age-lasting (LONG) life in the here and now so that we eventually will inherit the earth ( the promised earth that will be the home of righteousness).

1 John 2:15-17 KJV
(15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
(17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We are not to fret nor be envious against the workers of iniquity.

Psalms 37:1-10 KJV
(1) A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

…for they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb. All FLESH is as the grass.

(2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

Instead, we are to trust in the Father and DO GOOD so that we shall dwell in the “land”…that is, the EARTH….and shall be fed….that is, graze in FAITHFULNESS.

(3) Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

We are to delight ourselves in Him. Seek first the kingdom of God….

(4) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
(5) Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

….as He shall bring forth our righteousness as the light. His life shall appear in our mortal bodies for all to see. All shall see what it means to actually DO the will of God for we shall not perish but have an age-lasting life in the here and now. We are to cease from anger and forsake wrath.

(6) And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
(7) Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
(8) Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Those who wait upon Jehovah shall inherit the earth. We shall inherit the earth in the coming Age as we continue to live to see it. In the mean time, let us not be envious of the wicked for they shall not inherit the kingdom of God as we journey through this present evil age as strangers. They shall be cut off from the earth as we continue to live here. We shall diligently consider their place, and it shall not be.

(9) For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
(10) For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

Their flower of the grass shall pass away. The glory of men shall fade away.

James 1:9-11 KJV
(9) Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
(10) But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

The “sun” rises with a burning heat so that it withers the “grass”….the flesh of men and their glory falls. They fade away in their ways as the wrath of God is revealed from heaven upon all of those who hold down the Truth in unrighteousness.

(11) For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

“Under the sun” does the “grass” wither. Under the wrath of God (who is consuming fire) does the flesh decay away to the grave. “Under the sun” = abiding under the wrath of God. We are consumed by His righteous anger and by His wrath are we troubled. His anger with man is righteous because men do not have an excuse not to do His commandments.

Psalms 90:4-12 KJV
(4) For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
(5) Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
(6) In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
(7) For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
(8) Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

All of our days pass away in His wrath and we spend our years as a tale that is told. We are “under the sun”….abiding under His wrath.

(9) For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
(10) The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

We are under the wrath of God….being under the sun…where the heat of the rising sun scorches the grass. Our flesh is being destroyed so that the spirit may be saved.

(11) Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
(12) So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

All flesh is as grass with withers away “under the sun” of His wrath. The glory of man is as the flower of the grass that falls away. But the Word of the Lord ENDURES unto the age. If we have love for one another, then we are making His Word FLESH and it is by this we have an age-lasting life in the here and now. We shall not perish (decay) but have an age-lasting life.

1 Peter 1:22-25 KJV
(22) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
(23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
(24) For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

(25) But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

The “sun” shall not strike us any longer nor any “heat” for we shall SERVE Him day and night as He shall dwell among us. We shall no longer abide under the wrath of God but shall enter into His rest.

Revelation 7:15-17 KJV
(15) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
(16) They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
(17) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:3-4 KJV
(3) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
(4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The Lord is not willing that any should perish "under the sun" of His wrath. That "sun" rises upon all of mankind....upon each of us in our lives. He is longsuffering towards each of us not willing that any should perish "under the sun" of His wrath but that all should come to repentance. The heavens and the earth is NOW stored with fire against the against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. This is a NOW thing....as men perish from off the earth. The flesh withers away and the glory of men fade away under the "heat" because they do not DO His commandment to have love for one another.

2 Peter 3:8-9 KJV
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
