Thought for This Week

Good Day, Friends; When we are very busy with our family plans and are making preparations for gatherings of family and friends, it is sometimes easy to put God aside for awhile. We forget that He is why we are here and He is why we have family and friends to gather with at all. Do not become so burdened with earthly duties that you forget Our Father. In Deuteronomy 8:10-11 (NLT) we are told, " 10 When you have eaten your fill, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and laws." Remember to keep the spirit of God in your plans, in your gatherings and in your daily lives and His blessings will be yours.
God bless you.

I LOVE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING HERE!

When things go great, we don't call on the LORD as often as we should.. well alot of us anyway,. I was sooo guilty, I wasn't saved, but did call on the LORD, but only when I needed help or to thank him for something, I wasn't seeking or doing right..

I wonder if sometimes the LORD gives us hurdles to get through to help us to remember to always remember him in all our thoughts and actionsand to show us how much we need him and haven't done our part?

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Happy Birthday JESUS!
